  1. If you get the right size stove it will do the job but if you get a 6kw stove and put radiators on it you are splitting the output. If the water takes 3kw you will not still get 6kw out of the stove just the total divided.
  2. I don't believe it ( à la Meldrew) you had to admit she was right with no argument
  3. The rear wheels were more of a hindrance than a help stopping the barrow from balancing properly. Here's some proper barrows although some have too many wheels for my liking, you sometimes need to run up a plank into a skip.
  4. There was never anything nice soft and oiled about lorry tarps, I used to sheet and shunt wagons before curtain siders came in and had more pulled backs humping canvas sheets round especially when they were wet or full of icy water. They were not oiled either just canvas. Our depot used to deal with specialised canvas services Staveley for repairs and sheets.
  5. I read it as £10,000 over 2 years so £5000 a year for not long. Most of the long term unemployed round here would just see it as extra booze and fag money. I intend to use the money to enrich the local licensing trade

    Tarpen

Electric hedge trimmer specially designed for outdoor use, as opposed to those for indoor hedges ?
  7. Got it Mark, which wing of the house did they film this in ?
  8. Is the ignition coil catching the flywheel, like a brake pad ? Was it hard to pull before you experimented with the spring ?
  9. Looking that way, will the supplier swap it?
  10. Is the warning light working ? It needs it for the regulator to start charging. What size pulley does it have and does it charge more when revving ? Does it change with the temp sensor wire disconnected ?
  11. That just sounds like not enough ventilation in the room where the range is. Does it improve if you open a window ?
  12. So Stubby doesn't look like Marisa Tomei ?
  13. If they are really old you could take the card and ask for the pin number, they could put the kettle on ready for when you get back.
  14. I have similar problems getting ratchet straps undone but I always get there in the end
  15. Or worn out and a bit ? I do grease the bar nose, clean air filter and use Aspen and blow all the other muck off the saw, sharpen the chain and dress and turn the bar occasionally. Sometimes I just do things because I have time to spare being retired.
  16. It's to complement the brushless motor I was waiting to see the 201 go sailing out of the tree.
  17. It was relisted with a different description. Still overpriced but some people will think they are getting a bargain if it runs. Husqvarna bar stickers are peeling off so that bit is duff as well.
  18. Bars don't cut anything, chains do.
  19. Not if you want to be seriously welding they aren't Type "weld splatter definition" into google
  20. It's spatter, splatter is what cows do on wet concrete Try resting your other hand against the frame and prop the neck of the torch to keep it steady and your speed constant.
  21. orgot what I was going to say
  22. It's a bit out my way with a 5x4 trailer and Berlingo but it looks tempting. Google maps says it's 166 miles, probably not then
  23. Factory I used to work in used Tecalemit for the machines and never had one fail in years.
  24. We get cowshit from farmers, that's a stable you're thinking of.
  25. Can you ring it up and split it as well ? I'd go as far as the £150 then
