  1. so am I better of just sticking to a bog standard chain, a lot of the cuts will be going with the grain not across.
  2. afternoon all. I have a load of old gnarly cr=p that my splitter wont split. I been told a full chisel is the way to go for sawing into smaller pieces, is this correct?? me biggest saw is a 036 on a 18" bar, will that pull a chain of that nature?? best reasonable priced place to get one from?? your thoughts??? and thank you.

  6. im in northants, as is splitter. collection only, tbh, Im not fit enough to crank it over anymore (to much beer and to many cigs) plus I could do with the room. it could do with a couple of little jobs doing to be perfect, but runs and splits fine. pm, for tel no. cheers, pete.

    I borrowed one of those log holders, and found it to low, so I knocked me own up so its a decent hight and good on the old back.

    cutting set

    good idea, im northants/liecs border if anyones interested.
  12. evening gents. ive a cutting set that I want gone. not wanting a lot for it, just need the room realy. consists of, acet nearly full, two oxy empty, gauges, hoses and trolley. looking around 50 nicker, collection only. and brazing torch. cheers

  15. last couple of yrs me 90 has,nt cost me out, bar the running costs. this October she will prob cost around £300 on various bits and pieces that need doing. and prob 4 days off work to do the jobs, but if I take it to a garage to do the work, I cant go work, so works out cheaper to do it meself, plus I know its done properly. that's a 200tdi

  18. a project I started a little while ago. a very ugly commuter bike from the late 80s hoping it looks a tad better when im finished. need to update the pics as its not far of done, I want it on the road for next summer. your thoughts????
  19. that's the kiddie, had a kwick look this morn, good old machine, run all day:001_smile:
  20. got a little oxford here, not 100% sure but I think it can be run on 240v and 3 phase, was going to put it on the bay. I would like 90 nicker for it, as that's what I paid for it. will drag it out and check the voltage tomorrow, got some decent sized long leads with it aswell.
  21. plenty of boat yards round that way, give them a try, some cracking sighn writers about in boat yards.

  23. looks good, might have to convert a old engine crane I have getting in the way.
