  2. Oh no surely not! Dya mean the ones she did with Jason Donovan?
  3. There's a small but notable difference between Cordwood and Cord Wood.
  4. Yeah, come on!... show us which songs you've nicked....could it be Abba? James Blunt? Burt Bacharach? The Cheeky Girls?
  5. In the United States and Canada, firewood is usually sold by the full cord, face cord or bag. A full cord or bush cord has a volume of 128 cubic feet (3.6 m3), including wood, bark, and air space in a neatly stacked pile. The actual wood volume of a cord may be in the range of 80 to 100 cubic feet (2.3 to 2.8 m3) as stacked wood takes up more space than a piece of solid wood. The most common firewood piece length is 16 inches (41 cm). A face cord is one third of a full or bush cord stack of wood that is 4 by 8 ft (1.22 by 2.44 m) by 16 in (41 cm) and has a volume of 42.6 cubic feet (1.21 m3). 6. Probably removed on copyright grounds. Best be careful if you are using images or music without permission or a licence, especially when it's for business/corporate use. Could land yourself with a hefty bill! Cheers, steve
  7. Sounds like a bit of a nightmare! Shouldn't your insurance company be sorting it all out? Cheers, steve

Oh dear that's not good. Hopefully just a one off problem. Have you let Rob know? I think he supplies FR Jones with the Sugi's. Cheers, steve

The Sugihara bars aren't described as being indestructible but from what I can gather they are supposed to last much longer when compared with other bars. Which Sugihara did you have on the 346xpg? Was it the resin one, or solid?.... ....and what happened for it to bend so soon, did you get it caught up? Cheers, Steve

No worries Jon, apparently the Husky bars are a bit on the soft side, wear out fairly quick. You may want to consider a Sugihara bar for the long term. I'll be ordering a 15" Sugihara Pro when mine wears out. I also got an 18" Sugihara Light type Pro bar from Rob at ChainsawBars (the one with resin infilled to reduce the weight). Decided to go with the resin bar as wanted the saw to feel as balanced as possible. Hope this helps, cheers steve

  14. Before parting with any cash best to run a TER check to see if it's registered as stolen or has finance owing, it's not very expensive to do. (Best to assume absolutely everything is stolen on the bay !) Cheers, Steve

Hi mate, it's a brand new saw so there is no reason to be spraying easy start! It only took 29 pulls on the very first start (without easy start!) and has started in 2 or 3 pulls since then. Be very wary of using easy start regularly as it won't do your engine any good Cheers, Steve

Hi Jon, yeah must say I was a bit miffed, but it did start fine following the first run. Will be interesting to see if it starts okay when I use it again... I've not used it for a couple weeks. Would cost me £'s in postage if I had to send it back to fR Jones, so would rather wait & see how it goes. Cheers, Steve

Good stuff, did you have any problems on the very first start? I had to pull my 550xpg 29 times before it fired up! ....was fine afterwards. I've only put 2 tanks of fuel through it so far. Cheers, Steve
  18. Great to hear this
  19. The 500mm Genki-Tamagari looks like it would deal with the thicker stuff: Gomtaro Sheathed Saws, UK - Silky Fox
  20. Knot a good place for a knot, but I'd also say the handle looks on the slim side.
  21. Think you've answered your own question there. With an extra 2k to 3k you could probably find an okay Takeuchi TB016. They are very popular so you'd need to be on the case!
  22. You'll be enjoying that. Let us know how it starts and make a note of your sequence. Cheers, Steve
  23. Look at Rocket Mass Heaters mate.... very efficient, far more efficient than any metal wood burners.
  24. Does the number plate flip over on that truck and turn into a headlamp James Bond style? P.s... Ignore this comment, just noticed the headlights in the bumper. Had a week of Sinusitis, not very switched on. Cheers
