  3. You in the wrong job silkster.......you should be working at curry's with all the tech info you have....you want to see if you can come up with an idea combining THE ARB & TECH know how you have....hope all good with you.

  5. You really should be using your own work pictures to be quite frank....and I don't think you will get much feed back reference giving you pictures of other tree surgeons work...sorry to be so blunt but I wouldn't give out any of my job pictures.

Back to basics....no disrespect to all the technical input put in by others...but it was a simple question which just needed a simple answer...as above or ref pollards answers...think sometimes we all over complicate things when a simple straight forward answer would do....again no disrespect to other meaningful and helpful postings.
  9. As above.....repollard 2 or 3 meters above main stem and in no time at all you'll have better shaped more natural looking tree and more easily to maintain and manage.
  10. Between £3k & £3.5....that's a price for the whole job no matter how long it takes not hourly rate.

Simple...you keep pushing and stay ahead of competition...when you work for yourself this is what you have to do until you get to the stage were you still push and generate work but not so hard...sounds like if you didn't put time and effort in getting those contracts you wouldn't have got them...cause surely they wouldn't have come to you.

There will be no abuse coming John....I'am positive that everyone who has posted on this thread cares greatly about the well being and health of all trees, after all that is part of the reason we all do this job.....it's not just about the money. I just think it's a case of our own personality....were some of us get wound up about things others are laid back and just let it roll....it's not a case of not caring it's just how differently we are all made....and carrataristics we are born with.

He must have got stuck on the crapper sending one to the coast.....so I'll answer for him...he based in Worcester, West Midlands....not sure but he might be sorted....I do know someone coming to get some....but there is a lot and some more to come down soon...am sure he'll be of the craper in a bit:laugh1:
