  1. Is that cause you were shocked that the echo didn't come second.
  2. No they are not...my old 260 is bulletproof....thing is if in a tuff test the 261!came out on top and most people don't rate them...how crap are the other 3....not rocket science really.
  3. Weternbert"in Gloucestershire 3rd & 4th of June
  4. Good top 4 and not a lot in it....agree with there analysis...and the stihl 261 coming out on top..husky 2nd...hope Richie Rich is looking at this...hard luck fella.
  5. Don't be daft....if it ain't broke don't fix it is my motto wolfie...good man...will keep a look out for the you.....your first round..as always.
  6. Same here...just doing the Friday then looking round the area...supposed to be heat wave around that time.
  7. See you there then fella...latte and cake on you.

  9. Good man silkster...I can remember it was very retro and wacky...and a nice out door sitting area at the back....can't believe it's a year ago...crazy man !!!!!
  10. Definitely kev....your a good man for doing the B.B.Q and for bringing down the dear...you bringing all your lads down?...there good bunch...see you there fella.
  11. I'll be going...just doing the Friday...one day is enough round the show unless you haven't been before...mainly going down for catch up with friends and few beers...will be at the campsite for the band and piss up but not camping so stoping B&B. Going to spend the Saturday looking round tetbury and local villages. Myself and the silkster found a great place in tetbury last year and the arboretum was a good crack. Silky may put some pics up of the café bar we found...sure he's still got some.
  12. Do a fair bit of hedge cutting and have try'd all makes over the years, love stihl stuff but there hedge cutters are crap and far to heavy, echo ok but very expansive...the best make I have ever had and still use are ROBIN...they are light, powerful and very reliable have one for beech hedges and all thicker type hedges and one for conifer, yew hedges which need a cleaner cut...just saves me haveing to have the cutters sharpened to often.
  13. Looks like leaonardo de,Caprio after that bear attacked him in that film...can't remember the name of it now...nice work though.
  14. When you've been around long enough you see this type of wrork now and again...and often it's hard to see how or why it's been allowed to happen...but there is always a good reason....either it has got a TPO on it and the owner of the house has no idea what one is anyway and has a go himself(yes it does happen) especially if they have had a price and just thought sod it I'll do it myself. Or it has a TPO on it and again he doesn't give a crap anyway and he's got his mate to do it or again done it himself...you just don't know what the sinario is..if it's bothering you that much just knock on the owners door and ask who did it.
  15. I wouldn't waste your time and or energy fella....all to common now to see that kind of work...just be greatful you don't work to that kind of standard....also that kind of work isn't always carried out by the type of people you mite think...if you know what I mean.
  16. I have seen similar at a few shows and they were going for bertween £250-£550 so i reckon safe bet and good price would be around the £400 mark....what puts a lot of people of is they have to source the seats to go with it...nice job though fella...and you shouldn't have any problems shifting it...if not bring it to the ARB SHOW and sell it.
  17. Second that or even a 260 beefed up a bit...trouble is the older 261,s are so hard to find and seem to hold there money....can't comment on what would be its equal as use only stihl and nothing else.
  18. 1 ton 2ton 3ton...
  19. Out in 10 mins..kendo...kendo....you must have been bout 8 when he was on...my favourite was les Kellet.cacth up next week...when you not making lots of money.

  21. Kendo Nagasaki....still remember his red eyes....showing my age now fella..just sat down ,cup tea and your on here....good job am going out or you would be round:laugh1:
  22. I use walking boots for climbing..have 2 pairs of AKU'S which are fab for both walking and climbing.tough, compersite toe cap..have scaffels,mendils..but wouldn't use them for hiking, walking.
  23. Had exactly the same problem with mine...only brought it last June starting playing up like your..took it straight back to dealer as under warranty...and guess what.... The only thing the warranty does not cover is over oiling in fuel mixture...and apparently that's what they came up with. First time in 30 years of using chainsaw a iam putting to much oil in the fuel mix..bull s--t.....end up paying to get it back and a week later same problem...took it back and same as before..lots of ranting but got it done...advised to change to stihl super hp oil mix...wouldn't say it's running perfect but haven't had to take back yet...6 weeks. Hope that helps if you haven't already try'd it. Use nothing but stihl equipment and the 150 is the only brand new saw I have ever brought...want buy new again.
  24. Happy birthday bro....you'll soon be with us in the 50's club...have a good evening what ever you up to.
  25. Just the here and now....
