  1. To heavy,to red and to ugly...the huskie was just as bad...
  2. Does it rime with PARK SIDE....
  3. As long as it's STIHL ORANGE silkster I would use a lolly pop stick to cut with....happy new year by the way....I did get your pm...just didn't get round to reply stage so apologies for my mate.
  4. Granted Echo over EFCO....but thr guy who started this thread said he wasn't a climber and wanted one for occasional use....like all things EFCO could have improved since you had yours....no disrespect.
  5. Not mine my friend...anyone who knows me knows I only use stihl....a good mate of mine has got one...he ordered it from USA and cost a grand total of £231...had to wait about 3 weeks...
  6. Exact same one.
  7. You can buy a new EFCOFor £206 plus £25 delivery total £231...just slightly more then £200 I agree.
  8. That should have said EFCO.be for anyone picks up on it...can't buy and Eco for £200...other wise I would have a couple.
  9. You can buy a brand new Ecco top handle with a 14" bar for around £200... For that you will get a warrenty and not a bad little top handle saw....especially if you not going to hammer it every day...makes sense to buy new if you can...you will be looking at paying £200 and more for like you say a second hand topper which has been hammered.
  10. Just contact power company's direct and ask what there requiments are for sub contract power line services...and tell them what you have...quick e-mail or call should tell you what you know.
  11. Of down the town Jon then back up the working mens for last orders....would ask Richie rich but he's not allowed out after 9...he'll be replying to this in a min...anyway of out now for some units:pepsi:
  12. Have you gone yet???? Am just out now...21 units...light wait:beerchug::driver:hope you not driving and drinking...you'll spill most of it:thumbup:
  13. You need a decent 11mm rope or slightly thicker...it's all about confidence....I wouldn't go cutting it about you would be better off selling it....shame to not use it for what it was designed for...up to you at end of the day...you could sell it and buy a back up zz or get a mark 3 if you haven't got one.
  14. You could but what a wast of a good piece of kit....should have persevered with it cause once you get the hang of it it's brill...not knocking the zz I have both...zz can be used more frequently but the spider comes into its own in medium to bigger open canopy trees especially when combined with a cocoon pulley.
  15. You will get loads of different answers and advice....you do what you feel is the right thing and that it won't bug you for the next few weeks if you just leave it...personally I would do what I could to get it...ok only £5 but it's yours you own it,you won the bid fair and square I wouldn't spend to much time or effort trying to sort it..but just to walk away is not the thing to do...only what I would do....and ya he does sound like a knob..more reason not just to leave it.

    Hello!

Nice effort but you look nothing like Sherlock....good luck with your new job jake and no doubt see you at the ARB SHOW this year.
  17. How would they have gone about doing the job we done yesterday.....shut the road for an hour:confused1:
  18. Oohh that's harsh....hope none of them are reading this...shame on you knocking fellow workers
  19. Wow you would have thought they would have it on a standing order or something
  20. First impression would be to get rid....but secondary view would be a reduction...still quite a bit of life in it. So a reduction would still keep the tree but take away most of the trouble it would cause if and when it does go...depends on if T P O and or on conversation area and what the local tree officer advises.
  21. Just won a £1000,0000...took you longer enough
  22. Yes I jest....but a few e-mails in mendip speak will confuse anybody and mite get it sorted...
  23. O ok...when I ring stihl uk and mention your name then they should fix it or send me a brand new one straight away...cheers Jon...you the man:congrats:
  24. I'll get it sorted one way or another....but will never use anything but stihl....can't let one saw going wrong in over 20 years dictate to moving to another make.
  25. Shouldn't have to tell pork pies Jon...if the product is continually faulty they should just replace it....saves bad Cramer and ill feelings.
