  1. O and of course you have got to take down and then put back up the green house.
  2. I would gharge £1,500 for that job....not so much the cutting as that's always the easy part....but the dragging, clearing and disposal of wood, brash, woodchip etc.
  3. Game fairs stopped being game fairs years ago... Use to cost between £8 to £10 to get in...lots of gun dogs.shooting, fishing and all thing to do with the country side with the odd cloths stall were you had to save for a year to buy your Barbour jacket and wearit for what it was made for. Now you go to these shows and it's like walking down town to go shopping...just shops and to commercial and people who if they get a splash of water on there Barbour think that they are country folk.stopd going now just to exspenive and sad to see how it's changed so much.

  7. That's what am saying Joe....ring round find the right guy who has the equipment to shift it......he pays you for the timber be it whatever he wants to give you.....you don't have the hassle of finding and paying any haulage costs. That's what I did.....perfect....are you with me
  8. Well I live in Evesham......I have enough room for a few to crash down.....big open fire......live opposite a working men's club so ok for cheap beer and if I know numbers we can do food at mine or book somewhere
  9. Joe.....my point I was making was that don't think about making money just think about getting it shifted by someone who has all the gear
  10. No he's not here......he's in Antigua on holiday......to much doing a weeks work in 3days:owned:
  11. Did a big welly last year...had same problem so I rang around a few timber/log merchants....arranged for them to come out to have a chat....gor a bit of dollar but that wasn't my priority as I was making enough of the job.....was more concerned that who ever took it away they had all the right equipment to deal with it in a clean professional manner as it would reflect on me as it was my job. Sorted a price for all the timber less brash and anything under 6".left it at that and job done....everyone's a winner...me a bit of beer and diesel money and the chap with a good few ton of timber and leaving me without the stress and worry of how to move major pieces of tree:beer:
