  1. Hedge cuttings go through the chipper, rakings go in a builders bag & I take them with my own garden cuttings to the tip in my car.
  2. Hi Chas, just a heads up if you use Tamar, they only take payment from card (no cash) & hi vis vest must be worn on site. And the access lane is very narrow with large pot holes.
  3. Personally I would like to see fireworks banned from public sale.
  4. The jackets are called thunder jackets & comfort the dog when worn.
  5. You can get calmex, zylkene, skullcap & valerian, camomille from your vets. You could also try making an enclosed space for your dog to go to feel safe, if you have a cage cover with a blanket.
  6. If the fuel filter has been changed it may be the wrong way round.
  7. I'm sure there will be more knowledgeables along to help.
  8. At least with a vehicle manufactured to carry a decent weight, it's safer on the road.
  9. I don't think the op is worried about weight.
  10. The grey/green circles are lichen. Has the tree sustained mechanical damage to the bark in the past?
  11. Get an Iveco (other makes are available) & get it down rated to 3.5t, you will then have a truck with heavy suspension.

    Nice truck

I know the unladen weight of a T25 caravelle is 1440kg with a total permissable weight of 2360kgs, so being a pick up should be slightly lighter.

    Nice truck

Ooh nice syncro. Super rare in right hand drive. They have huge storage both sides underneath the body. Shame they don't make vehicles like this anymore.
  14. For me it was when I got stuck on customers drives (mud tracks really) last year & had to be towed. I have found that the versatility of a 4x4 far out ways the hassle of getting stuck over chip box volume. Personally as much as I like the look of the Navara, Hilux etc etc, for me I would be too worried it would get tatty real quick with the shiny bumpers & chrome bits, so it was either a defender or ps10.
  15. I had a similar problem with mine once after I power washed it. Turned out the relays got wet, took them out, dried & cleaned the connectors worked fine after. As said before, check that there is no crap between the flywheel & sensor. Check all the electrical connections also including the control box on top of the hopper. If it was working well before the service it's likely to be something really simple. I have a refurbed TW125 with a 25hp honda engine, actually it was originally a TW127, built like a 150 but lighter, its a worthwhile upgrade if the 20hp lets got as it chips noticeably quicker with the extra hp.
  16. Oh and water & coffee for drinks
  17. Breakfast - museli with milk & a banana Mid morning - seeded bread meat sandwich Lunch - seeded bread meat sandwich & scotch egg Afternoon - banana or two Dinner - meat & two veg
  18. Me either, had to look in my book.
  19. That made me chuckle.
  20. I'd go for Meripilus giganteus.

  22. Its a beauty.
  23. Thanks for confirming for me David, looks like the tree will have to be removed at some point then.
