1. Hi Bob, I will get this sorted next week. Aspen fuel is available in 1 litre, 5 litre and 200 litre drums. Aspen 2stroke oil. 1 litre Hope this helps. Kind regards Eddie
2. The 4-mix engine has to have the valves checked regularly and Stihl have sent dealers a Stihl feeler gauge to do the job. It is not unknown for the valves to drop into the engine. I know of one brand new one that did not make it out of the showroom. The 4-mix suffers from carbon build up so Stihl have said to use the low soot HP ultra 2stroke. Aspen2 is even cleaner than HP because of the fuel being cleaner and the oil being high grade. So run on Aspen and get those valves checked! Hope this helps All the best Eddie
3. Hello all I have been asked to list the pro's and con's of Aspen2. I will try a not miss anything out. I think I will start with the con's as it's a shorter list! Con's Yes price per litre is more than pump fuel. You may need to adjust the L mixture screw to give more fuel. Also you may need to increase the Idle screw to bring idle speed back to factory spec If you are very unlucky you may have to change your carb diaphragm if you have hard starting or poor running after about 3-4 weeks from changing to Aspen. There are only a very few cases of this! Stihl 201T 200T if they have the above issue will need the pump piston kit fitting to the carb. Pro's Your health, less toxic fumes. You will feel better working with Aspen. More energy at the end of the working day. Very low smell from fuel and exhaust. No smoke from exhaust. Clean fuel (no dirt or water etc) Engine performance is better. Spark plugs are cleaner so better burn of fuel. Engine wear reduced. Easier starting. Less wasted fuel with evaporation. Machines can be stored for years and start with no problems No wasted time mixing 2stroke oil to the right mix. No chance of the wrong mix or no 2stroke oil in the fuel. No wasted time driving to and from the petrol station. Better for the environment and less harmful if spilled. If your an employer this puts you in charge of the fuel being bought and used. Hope this helps and I am sure you guys will add more. Kind regards Eddie
4. Hi Josh. If you buy a pallet your dealer would give you a discount and it would be delivered free of charge saving loads of trips to the petrol station, saving time and money. You would have to factor in all of the positives and not just cost per litre of pump fuel V cost per litre of Aspen. I understand not everyone wants to use Aspen. If you would like any more info email or phone me after Monday the 26th when I am back from my Holiday. all the best Eddie
5. Great idea Barry! What tag lines would you like on the stickers??? I will look into window sticks etc. Let me know what type and sizes you all would like and I will see what I can Do. I am back at work Next Monday.
6. Hi Eddie. Nothing back from Kubota. Then I met the area rep at the New Forest Show and he gave me the contact for Kubota engines UK. I spoke to them and emailed all the spec and details again. I will chase them up when I am back from my Holiday next Monday. All the best Eddie

8.
Hi, Where did you find your avatar? I think I remember seeing this years ago on a box or in a manual.

9. Good morning Dan, PM me your address and I will send some. Let me know how many you would like. I will send a selection of sizes. Kind regards Eddie
10. Hi Dan, I don't have window stickers but I do have white background Aspen stickers in a few sizes. Would these be any good? Kind regards Eddie
11. Hi, I had 2005 Canter from new. great truck and much bigger cab then the Nissan. parts are expensive and sold though merc dealers who treated me like s%£T. They come in three wheel bases the short one will bounce you silly unless fully loaded.
12. Fuel spouts are extra. Please ask for one
13. Hi, Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd Haven Road Colchester CO2 8HT Tel: 01206 871881 Email: [email protected] They should have Aspen in stock, please let me know if they don't. Remember to check out our dealer map on our web site. Kind regards Eddie
14. The valves on 4-mix engine need to be checked and reset after x amount of hours use. Please check the handbook or with Stihl for the number of hours so your machine keeps running as it should. When I worked at a Stihl dealer we had a 4-mix valve problem on a new machine so it is not unknown.
15. Hi, I will give them a call in the next few weeks to explain Aspen and the fact that customer do buy it. Just so they know the facts and things might change. Your nearest stockist is Cambrian Power tools Glendale Tregaron SY25 6QT Tel:01974 298244 Thanks for the info
16. Please let us all know what the fix is, be nice to know. If you use the green oil and normal pump petrol the price gap is getting smaller between using that and using Aspen. Kind regards Eddie
17. 4-mix runs on 2stroke mix like all Stihl kit. Aspen will not cause any problems. When the 4-mix engines first came out Stihl said you could use the Red 2stroke oil. But these engine started to coke up so Stihl now recommends the use of their Green 2stroke oil which is cleaner but more expensive. Because Aspen fuel is cleaner and the 2stroke is very high quality Aspen2 will be even better for your engine than using the Green Stihl oil and normal petrol. I was talking with the Stihl Tec men at the FR Jones show today and they have no problems with the use of Aspen in Stihl machinery. Take the machine back to the dealer and get them to fix it under warranty or show you how to start it, if the is a special way!?! sure there is not but check with your dealer.
18. If you what to use Aspen then the only way at the present time is to use Aspen4 and Husqvarna 2stroke for the oil guard system. Still far lower emissions and cleaner running but still having to mix your own oil.
19. see you all there then. I will be the one with the giant Aspen can!!
20. Anyone going to the FR Jones show?
21. There is no need to change a carb! You might if you are unlucky need to change the diaphragm which is a service part and will need changing at some point anyway when running pump fuel. With Aspen the rubber parts will live far longer. Please call me if you need any help or have questions 07568108953. Let me know how you get on!
22.
Hi, we are having some banners made up for a show on the 20th in Perthshire what are your dates? My email is not working so please call the office on Monday as I am out on site until Tuesday. I am sure we can do something for you.

23. All Aspen is made is Sweden then sent all over Europe. The factory is very impressive and mostly automated. They have meetings every day so every member of the team knows how they are doing and what is needed today.
24. Hi I will find out, Husqy do buy Aspen from us and we have some in stock with their name under Aspen. Some dealers don't think there is a market for Aspen and so when I call they say "nobody asks for it!" Please keep asking, all Aspen in the UK comes though Anglo American Oil (who I work for) Please let me know if you have a dealer you use who would like to know more about Aspen.
25. Doing by best! as I can't do any more
