1. Hi, Great to hear you are going to try Aspen! The can's will go in household plastic recycling if empty. The five litres cans are made of the same plastic as milk bottles. Check our dealer map Aspen Fuel :: Home and if you don't have a dealer near you let me know who you use and I will see if they will stock Aspen fuels. Let me know how you get on all the best Eddie

 23. Yes only if pump fuel has been used before. I am finding a very small amount of people with this problem. I believe you can retro fit an older style carb without the pump piston and have no problems. HOW TO FIT A PUMP PISTON KIT Remove the carb from the saw. Unscrew throttle butterfly Turn throttle shaft 180 degrees and remove. Drill a small hole in the brass plug on then face of the carb, then hook it out. Inside will be a brass piston with an o ring and a small spring. Remove these parts. Check for any wear in the hole the piston moves in. Remember it runs at the bottom of the hole. If you are happy the carb is useable fit a new pump piston kit. Spring in first then piston, now refit the throttle shaft and twist it round so the piston fits into the cut out on the throttle shaft. Now fit the new brass plug with the correct sized punch so the edges are flush. Refit the throttle butterfly making sure the throttle shaft is round the right way. Don't tighten the screw yet! now turn the shaft so the butterfly moves to sit nicely in the venturi and now tighten the screw. Now fit your diaphragm kit if you haven't already. Then refit the carb and retune as needed.
 24. Running Stihl hp is better than standard oil but you still have all the bad stuff from the petrol. Did you know pump fuel is made from over 100 ingredients but Aspen is made from only 10. Pump fuel is classed as toxic and aspen is only classed harmful.
 25.
Hi howburn,
