  1. I have not had this with just Aspen i will ask the men from Sweden when I see them on wednesday. Just some quick questions. Are you using aspen2 or aspen4 with your own oil? What colour is this sticky residue? How old is the machine? Do you use aspen in 5 litre cans and pour from can to fuel tank or use another type fuel can? I sould have something for you on friday.
  2. Great idea, Also keep asking dealers for aspen if they know there is demand there is more chance of they stocking it. Please keep me informed with all aspen feedback
  3. Hi all great news! We have just sent our first order to inverurie garden centre, Kellockbank Country Emporium Culsalmond Insch Aberdeenshire AB52 6TG 01464 851114 They have ordered Aspen2 and 4 in 5 litre cans and should have stock by the weekend.

  6. Hi, Check the valves but I would think it has dropped a push rod from the information you have given. Or a valve is stick?
  7. Hi all, I was at Christchurch Powr Tools yesterday doing dealer training. Great team fully understand Aspen. If your in the area pop in!
  8. Hi, Please see my other post I am in contact with Honey Bros and will keep you all informed
  9. Hi Matt GT, I had a chat with Inverurie Garden Machinery this week and sent them forms to open an account so fingers crossed! I will keep you posted
  10. Hi, I will contact them this week coming and see if they will stock 5 litre can's and let you know. Thanks for the info
  11. Hi I have spoken to Honey Bros and they are thinking about restocking with Aspen. I have changed the Listing on our dealer map to say "Phone to check stock" Please let me know if dealers we list on our map don't have stock so I can contact them. The more people ask for Aspen the more chance of dealers stocking it. Thanks and please keep me informed
  12. I know what you mean hedgesparrow, In my travels i have been to dealers who still have Husqvarna Aspen cans on display! Dealers who don't have any posters up or who don't have Aspen tags on machines in the showroom. I agree if the customer sees Aspen information they will ask and the dealer has the chance to make exta sales. I sold Aspen for over 8 months from Carters of Swanwick and would always drop Aspen into conversation with any customer. In my pick up truck i have posters, display stands, tags and stickers for machines and A4 handouts. Each dealer i visit i make them aware of all this free promotional kit i have. I am working my way round the whole UK and things are changing!
  13. Hi Andy, B&Q don't have sales people who would be able to explain Aspen to customers and as Aspen is not widely know in the uk I am not sure it would sell enough with just a few bullitt points on a card to explain it. In the future yes super store outlets could sell Aspen. What i am doing at the monment is having meetings with Honda, Briggs & Stratton and big importers to create understanding and get them behind the product. I am also driving around the UK meeting all our dealers in person. To make sure they understand Aspen and how to sell it. Also adding dealers to fill in gaps in our dealer coverage. All this will take time but very week I get very posative feedback and each month sign up new dealers.
  14. Honda CBR600F V fast but very boring PX'ed for Harley Sporster. They are standard pipes in the pic with cats in very quiet....................... now has V+H slip on silencers and makes a propper noise.
  15. My wife's Tiger Cub 1965. Sadly now sold and gone
  16. Hi Eddy_t, When I visited Aspen in Sweden the set up is amazing, Massive storage tanks, blending plants and laboratories. Then we have the packaging plant and warehousing. They only make Aspen in sweden and distribute it all over europe. The investment is mind blowing! In the future if the UK market becomes large enough in may get shipped in tankers and bottled over here and so the price would come down, but this again is a massive investment. Again the catch 22 of we all want it cheaper but the UK market is not large enough to make it cheaper. You all want it cheaper to keep your costs down. I want it cheaper so Angol American Oil sells more.
  17. Show us you cars 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass. My toy Sorry don't know how to start a new thread.
  18. Hello all, I have over 20 years fixing all types of garden machinery so i speak as a mechanic and salesman. If anyone has any questions regarding Aspen you can always phone me on 07568108953 8-30am- 5pm
  19. Hi Andy, I have just checked and plastic milk bottles are the same plastic a Aspen 5 litre can's Still getting used to using this site!
  20. Hi, Yes Aspen costs more but it costs more to make. Every litre of Aspen can be traced back to the blend it was made from in sweden. Every bottle of Aspen is the same. Not like pump fuel from the supermaket!! We are in the catch 22 of wanting the price to come down but not using enough in UK to make this happen. When I did my Aspen training we went to a machinery dealer in sweden and he has Aspen petrol pumps outside for his customers to fill up. I am checking up about can recycling and will let you all know the facts
  21.

  22. Hello all, Great news Christchurch Powr Tools in Dorset have just taken thier first delivery of Aspen fuel. Last months new Aspen dealers Toad Hall Garden Centre Marlow Road Henley-on-Thames Oxfordshire RG9 3AG F N Pile & Sons Fir Tree Farm Warmington Banbury OX17 1JL I will try and keep you updated on new dealers but please check aspenfuel.co.uk then click dealer map
  23. I have some people who run Aspen in classic bikes, and use it as storage fuel for moden bikes. My Enfield (when it's back on the road) can't use pump fuel becase it will eat the fiberglass fuel tank. I have had two people tell the their tank blistered up and is now junk. KTM and Husqvarna 2strokes run fine on aspen 2 and some have had the same tank problems as above. Used Aspen 4 as storage fuel in my HD and took it out for a run the other day 100% fine so ideal as bike fuel.
  24. Hi, I have got a 1969 Royal Enfield 250GT cafe racer and a 2005 Harley Sportster 883 not sure how to post pic's
  25. Hi all Please understand I am new to the arb forum and posting replies etc. As regarding my "wild clams" I feel Gardenkit have covered it. I base all the information I give out on real reports from end users about long life of saws and the facts than less carbon build up and no ethanol or solvents mean less wear for all conponents. I have had 20 years working on all types of 2 and 4stroke garden machinery so i have seen the issues I have talked about. Somtimes typing replies is not the best way to explain things if anyone would like to know more please call me for chat on 0758108953 8.30am 5.30pm
