  1. Is that royalty or a secret sect of petrol heads & exhaust ports?
  2. Or just do as Stubby does or go with Aspen 2 or similar premixed alkylate fuel.

    Tropical Giants

Don't often use the word. But that gets a 'wow' from me.
  4. Great music. Pictures at an Exhibition is one of my all time greats.
  5. Even better. In keeping with the 6"x6".
  6. If you don't succeed at first. Hit it with a piece of 6"x6", then kick it and final whack with an axe. Novel way of starting a saw too. Never seen holding at head height and pulling cord downwards.
  7. Now there's a thought.

    Aspen fuels

How many sugars and is he a dry nibbler or a dunk & crunch?
  9. Probably not helped by Cleese actually slapping him, running him head first into doors and whacking him on the head with a ladle.
  10. Volunteers who refuse to wear hi-viz, on the grounds that they're there to enjoy themselves; or somehow see it as un-cool.
  11. Nice.
  12. Can't your dog climb trees? Knew a springer spaniel that was forever climbing ladders onto scaffolding.
  13. When you said HRH, I thought you meant Mr. Bullman.
  14. Bit chilly but mainly dry.
  15. When was the last time you changed the plug. Had a similar problem, checked the obvious or so I thought. Morning I was due to hand it over to Dinosaw, I changed the plug. No more problems after the plug swap.
  16. Choke on, prime, decomp in, pull until coughs. Then choke off, don't prime again, do not decomp and pull until it starts. Is this what you're doing?
  17. I agree. Local guy round here got done a few years ago for burning a speed camera. But it was mostly his own fault. He got done for speeding three times by the same camera in as many months. So after being done again, he ripped it off the pole, dragged it to a local park, poured petrol over and set it alight. But he forgot about the CCTV covering the park. Other than than that and the dozen or so witnesses in the park, the plan was a goodun.
  18. You really used string, not even starter cord?
  19. And your reply was...
  20. Neat.
  21. I like it, though it retake a bit of forward planning.
  22. If it works safely and doesn't cost too much to run in parts & fuel. I think £76 is a bargain. Beside it may pay for itself in the long run. I think you're being too hard on yourself.
  23. cm3 - you sure about that?
  24. Not convinced about logs... unless they're dugout canoes. I think one could make killing with canoes and paddles now.
  25. Need I really say it? Yes, it's raining. Forecast is for just over 50mm in next 24hrs. And it's rained & sleeted 140mm. in last 40hrs. There a whole bunch of water coming off the local fells and still snow on the tops.
