  1. Still got a hydrangea in flower and a rose on its third bout of bloom of the year and flax still in bloom.

    Ouch..

I'm puzzled by the question his mate asks. "What happened?" You mean he didn't see him fall out of the tree.
  4. And it's raining... again. So a good day for pressure washing garden slabs, which is how I spent my afternoon.
  5. Drove a crewcab in work for five+ years. First with its original engine, whatever that was and then with a recon' Izuzu engine. Both just about got by but both were gutless wonders. The underside was always needing patches welding. The suspension was bouncy even by pickup standards. Water and oil were not a problem but it drank fuel. The one really good point, was it was good for fording deep water and mud, which it had to on a fairly regular basis. It failed almost every MOT, until the time when no amount of welding was going to get it to pass. Turned out the original factory conversion to a crewcab, had been done by just bolting a wooden cage between the front seats and the load-bed. Then covered over with sheet steel. One time it went in for a new exhaust and as it was raise into the air, it literally snapped. It was only then, that its original construction came to light.

    Ouch..

I'm guessing that would be a bad day for a few people. And a very bad day for the trucker.
  7. One way to get to work, providing the ground is pretty level.
  8. You using Android or Apple or other?
  9. Started off dull, then the sun shone briefly right before some bloke named Noah started selling tickets. Reasonably high winds with torrential rain for an hour, followed by blue sky but cold. Just before the sun went down, it clouded over and hailed sideways for 30mins. So a pretty typical autumn day.

    Any Arbpoets

I like it; poetry doesn't have to rhythm and more often than not it does not.
  11. Always had nothing but excellent service from them.

1 0 2 it grew, It broke and died in the storm, Firewood it became.
  15. I like the look. But have to admit that tying and untying plain rope is easier compared to fancy patterns.
  16. Only some of it?
  17. Why s there an inexhaustible supply of scum in this world. Hope you get them back.
  18. Looks very nice.
  19. I think that would be read as something like this. Fill kettle Boil water Put tea in pot or mug Add boiled water to pot or mug Add milk and or sugar to taste Stir all in mug Drink tea Hand saw back to customer Fill kettle...
  20. First saw him in Man from UNCLE and latterly in Hustle, with various appearance between. Always enjoyed watching him.
  21. The Japanese have no sense of the ridiculous.
  22. Bonkers. What goes around... is worth chasing it appears.
  23. Personally. I think you got done by an unscrupulous trader. Most things you've mentioned should have been at least mentioned to you. But to give you back a saw without a fully functioning chain brake and not even bring it to your attention. Is reprehensible at the least and incompetent to boot. Sounds like they took your money and to put it politely, did nowt. Certainly wouldn't give them any more custom.
  24. Great owl.
