Sounds idyllic goaty, it is a wonderful place to live, but it's expensive and we all have bills to pay, nice views don't pay bills! Having said that, wouldn't want to stay anywhere else, but would probably prefer your fuel prices, don't know where you live though!

Haha, understand it now, clever system, now thinking would a more pear shaped ball 'sometimes' pull itself out of the half hitch before it tightened? Depends how rope lies on tree and where pressure is coming from! Last time I climbed a tree I was 9yrs old😀

Chrome or brass top mirror screws with rubber washers underneath glass. Should be easy enough to drill.
