Been working on a bungalow here for a couple of weeks, it was built in 1950, roof and walls clad with cedar shingles, I'm amazed how well it's held up, considering the gales and rain we get. But cedar is not an option for you, so not much help I'm afraid.

Still an issue with ignition I think. As if kill switch is being flicked on/ off . Intermittent, and annoying.

Reassembled and fired up tonight, compression seems way better than before it died, idling high, will hopefully sort that out tomorrow.
