  5. I am using a road towable chipper in a wood and keep getting it stuck in rabbit holes and ditches, sand ladders or 2 x 6ft bits of shuttering would help. If anyone has any metal ones they don't use, would be glad to buy them off you. I have seen plastic ones on Ebay, rather have steel as it's 1.3 tons. Can collect a reasonable distance from Sussex. Please PM me, many thanks SG.
  6. You might try asking the gunsmith at the KGW Store in Handcross East Sussex he must know of a few places. Directions to Handcross Store

  10. Before I moved to Sussex 3 yrs ago I used to run my own Garden Maintenance Company covering Windsor, Ascot, Virginia Water areas, I'm surprised there's a site like this in Wentworth, I did some site clearance for a property developer who built 6 large houses (£3 million each) all round that area. Do make sure you change extra for the "Wentworth" factor and don't wake Sir Bruce up he's at no !6! Good bacon sandwiches from the cake shop at Virginia Water.
  11. These are being sold again as from Thursday next week 20/06/2013 £24.99 must have had mine 12 months now, no problems....
  12. B&Q 2.4 Professional £16 square edge (90m approx)

  14. I got stopped 9am Monday in Brighton, "Excuse me Sir have you been drinking", well I thought my driving was bad but not that bad! He meant in the last 24 hrs apparently, there trying to warn the Sunday drinkers at BBQ's there still over the limit on Monday
  15. I feel this idea has come from HQ in the USA, our good friends across the pond really do not understand how we work over here, going to cost them lost sales, piles of saws in skips while we change to disposable ones (perish the thought). I was looking at a 362 the other day £700.00 also looked at a green saw 56cc 20"" £199.00, still thinking about that. I used to work for a computer maintenance company, we had a trainer from Compaq in Houston come to the UK to train us on lap top repair. During a coffee break he asked me where my "store" was thinking I was the guy in the white coat out the back who fixed things, he was somewhat taken aback when I said 12 area offices throughout the UK with 400 engineers in cars every day.
  16. I ran 2 x Honda 536 QXE Pro rollers for 10 yrs, the cables were different between the two machines determined by the colour of the return spring either gold or silver, not sure if its the same for your model....
  17. Saw this on my travels, caught my eye as I was driving past the garage. Toyota Dyna 300 D-4d Tipper *19k* for sale at SCS4Vans Wilmington Garage Lewes Road, Wilmington Eastbourne East Sussex BN26 5SG
  18. This used to be a paddock for the horses apparently, 100 self seeded samplings removed and put into 6 bonfires. Their Daughter has announced she's getting married next June (2014) and requires a Marquee in the paddock for her reception at home. Looks like the old gardener has his work cut out. Thanks for the ideas above people.
  19. The ones sold by Screwfix are excellent, the "round ones" not the "square ones", you need to wait if you can till there on special offer. Xtend & Climb? Pro Ladder 12-Tread | Screwfix.com
  20. From memory you can get an "all in one kit" from most suppliers think Husqvarna do one complete with bag. Sold mostly to people going on chainsaw courses.
  21. If anyone's interested Hadlow Down Steam Rally @ Tinkers Park, its a small one compared to The Great Dorset but very nice with steam railway round the site, fairground and auto jumble. If anyone is after tractor tin there is usually 3-4 people selling old parts. Traction engines - Fairground organs - Narrow gauge railway - Historic vehicles
  22. Very nice job, love the trellis work.
  23. Sorry to hear abut your lad's accident. Just an accident ok, right place to have it in front of trained first aiders, no one could have done any more, as everyone has said you did the right thing, kept your cool under pressure. Hope this nice sunny Bank Holiday weekend all will get better soon.
  24. Wish I hadn't found it really made in Barnsley no less! Apparently there's a top handled McCulloch about somewhere as well.
  25. Welcome along sandspider
