  11. after 2014 if you wish to drive a comercial truck 7.5tonnes or over you need to do a CPC. if you are pulled over after that date without this then they can throw the book at you. you can do it as a three day course. then a refresher believe every 3 years. it has made my job a bit of a pain as if i want to hire a truck to do a job can not. so will have to include lorry and operator into costs

  15. if your friend owns the wood then you need to get hold of the TPO officer at the council arrange a site visit show the trees and if he is agreement that they are unsafe and need felling will give you the paperwork to go ahead. no need to get hold of the leader he will just pass it on and it will end up as bio waste in local incinerator this is the link for them http://www.south-norfolk.gov.uk/.../Planning-application_form_15.pdf
  16. what size is the hedge girth can you burn on site. you say need to clear 6mtr space how wide is hedge at present. have you any photos of job so we can look and give our opinion and can the digger not pull the brash back for you if it has to be cleared off site good 360 should be able to pull it back to then dump in a truck
  17. i can see its use with a long reach but with a strimmer it would get caught in the overhanging trees that a no of jobs i do have. but looks good just can not see it working for a no of jobs hence went for a normal harness. but more of a pro one
  18. go for a 550xp Bunny chaser kindly let me try his saws a 550xp 560xp and 576xp autotune. the 550xp what a saw went through wood so quick. and you can get some cracking deals on these saws.

  21. if you are going to cut a lawn then you would check it for any stones eg using a rake just to clear any. if you had done all that and a stone did get picked up would you be liable for damage as you did a search of grass and removed any objects. interesting need as you say a begal
