  2. You can get this from the pound shops without any perfume in it
  3. Nicholson files are good, you can get them here. Files, Flat Files
  4. They are for when you have to change the blades its a setting jig, not sure how good they are though.
  5. Had the Titan one from Screwfix for the last 2 years, not used it as a planer only the thicknesser, cuts to within 0.2 mm over a 1 meter length, cuts down to 6 mm thick. Only fault is that at this thickness it tends to clog up and could really do with extraction to clear the chips.

  15. This is a lot cheaper RDG 2MT REVOLVING LATHE CENTRE MT2 LIVE CENTRE WOODWORKING METAL LATHE MYFORD | eBay Try knocking your drive centre into the wood with a mallet, also put a blob of wax into the dead centre hole this will reduce the friction while holding it tight.
  16. I have one of these JANSJÖ LED work lamp - black - IKEA its heavy enough to stand on the lathe bed without bouncing about, also for hollowing I use a single led blue tacked on the chisel tip that runs of a 9v battery.
  17. Had to stop turning laburnum, even with a mask on it always made me feel as if I had a bad cold, think its only the seeds that are poisonous though.

  21. Easy enough to make your own,get some 4 or 5 mm x 200 mm square aluminium plate of ebay mount the router to this and let it into a mdf board. For the fence use a bar clamp faced with more of the mdf
