  1. Never compared em, the 550 is definitely the 261 killer, without doubt, but I'm glad I spent the extra £100 on the 560, with the extra poke! And for the weight there isn't much between the 2, I think that many will switch to husky though, even with the occasional negative review from some members with the bad batch of saws... 11. Cheers, I had set it at 1 1/2 turns, pulled over and it wouldn't start, vapour coming out exhaust, so I did the only illogical thing and held a lighter to the exhaust, then turned it to 1 turn, plug was black, so will try 3/4 tomorrow, and once I go pick up the husky tach someone is giving me, I'll tune from there Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Isn't it required under HASAWA? And I thought the tickets were required to earn a payment of some description? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Spud, on a ported saw do you find you need to lean or richen the carb? My 236 that I had a go at porting seems to be rich on factory settings on aspen Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Just treat as any other prunus, you're too late in the year to prune back unless you don't want fruit or flower, but top it to where you want it, it'll sprout like buggery! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  18. Scotts are good but the better models are a tad expensive, if you can find a spreader with different spreading settings they tend to work better, if not the roller types work fine for seed and lawn sand, and are about £30 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Has pull-out transfer things! So ground out transfers and exh port, then ground the transfer covers, oops! Wrong side! Oh well, haven't shaved them down much, just need a carb kit and good to go!
