  1. XS hiflex type c, XS X-fit for stihl Classics for husqy (size 44) No idea for others as you're 26" waist Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Do you know the speed for backlap? I know it's the slowest our ride-ons do but it's still fast, mind I can always have my mower re-ground at work, but that will shorten blade life Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. http://tinytachuk.com/ http://www.probike.co.uk/it100005.htm http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=130774410494&index=4&nav=SEARCH&nid=54780186005 Or buy one from a dealer Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Just remember - the weight stated on the winch is ALWAYS the maximum weight for PULLING ON A LEVEL SURFACE! On my 1.2 tirfor the lifting weight is about 2/3 of the weight, also you need to check the limits on the strop, certain ways of wrapping lower the draw weight Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Pfft dealers do the minimum! Countless times I used to take my saws in because they wouldn't idle or needed tuning, buy a inductive tach and do it yourself! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. If the rope is doubled back on its self you double the power, 6 ton strain on each rope, so the block needs to be rated at OR higher than the rope, ideally higher as if something fails, you want it to be near the winch, not away from you, under tension! Although 10t should be fine with an 8t tractor, unless you use ground anchors Jon? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. I think the smallest tree will breach the felling licence Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. It's always higher than the winch rating, so for 6 go 10, for 12 go 15 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    MS291 any good?

We have ms290's at work, one on 15" semi chisel and one on 18" chisel, the 15 cuts much better on semi than it did on full chisel, I would recommend 15" semi chisel for what you want Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Limes (probably Tilia cordata), and with the epicormic growth, the cuts will heal over without the crown dying, although it probably will develop a bulge at the cut line Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    New saw

If its gonna break, it'll break within the warranty, as for the electrics, I reckon they'll fix any problems even without warranty, buy it Jon! You'll like it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Part no. 445-045-631 is .325 Part no. 443-045-651 is 3/8 What's your chain? And sprocket? You might have everything incompatible! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  14. Clutch slipping means you need a new clutch and possibly a new drum Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Hahahaha I'm surprised the growth rings hadn't opened right up with all the nitrates put into the soil Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. You've never been to a music festival then pissing up those trees was more hygienic Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. When did they change it? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Oleo mac and efco are the same aren't they? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Mines fine, no problems yet Jon Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  21. The sticker on the pull start looks different to mine Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Seems silly but are the cutters longer on one side of the chain? As for bars, a slight deformation in the bar such as a bend will make it cut like a banana, and a burr along the rails will stop it from cutting, had that many times with oregon bars! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. No worries spud, fixed it now, pried off front to reveal some tiny screws, undid those and pulled out the internals, batteries were SPOT WELDED on the tach, pried them off and replaced with some CR2025's (the old ones were 2032) and reassembled, seems to function fine, so had to figure a way to test, couldn't be starting the saws now (next door has a baby) so used the dremel, seems to be working so I will test tomorrow Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. Anyone know if (and how) to replace a battery on a DET-302 tachometer? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
