  1. Don't try to compete with builder yards, they buy in such bulk
  2. We charge anywhere from 20-30 depending on length and grade

  4. Just returned from a visit to Poland Woodmizer HQ and what an amazing opportunity. The employees were so friendly and we were given a tour from where the blades are a de and tested all the way through the building of each mizer, welding painting etc and then finished in the marketing suite! I sound like a rep now but the effort and efficiency they use here is top notch! The blade area although we were not allowed to photo, tracks every blade from the massive reel the blades are cut from to the testing of every blade batch! Having now purchased our 5th Woodmizer not including blade handling equiptment etc I'm now proud to use Woodmizer and will continue to do so
  5. Were visiting Woodmizer Poland tomorrow so I'll take some photos there for you all
  6. Like above and also are the rollers ok, they can wear and rub on the blade
  7. Wow that's incredible. I fancy a log pond ha ha Thanks for sharing
  8. Still get some nice boards off that though
  9. The obly trouble with lying ash is it can begin to spalt and go grey. But as the sun is starting to get warm and your gonna be leaving it outside I would try and leave it till later on on the year.
  10. Woodmizer have got a big sale on at the moment, so worth looking at there small mills again. That said there are other very good mills on the market. Whichever you go with make sure they have a good parts back up etc. Woodmizer may be hated by some on here but theve been around a while for a reason. Can't wait to hear what you come up with!!! 👍
  11. Just supplied this to Woodmizer uk, We have the rest of the tree slab bed and kilned.
  12. Was that you in the forestry jounal? Last month
  13. Sorry my mistake it's 30' span and 13' hig. If your building it your self just measure your loaders and build accordingly 👍
  14. Woodmizer has an excellent parts and service back up whichever mill you choose this is as important as the mill. If it's gonna take days to have a vital part shipped out, that could mean valuable time missed on orders etc
  15. Also height wise one of our forklifts can drive in easily the other can't and the jcb just skins under as long as the lights are folded down
  16. There's a 20' span between posts anything longer can be easily loaded in with a bit if wiggling
  17. Were in a lean too one side of a large barn, the other side of the barn is then used to store all our dry and kilned timber
  18. Afraid not the customers never did send any photos back but they were planning on just mounting the glass on top with see through plastic dots so the wood and glass does t touch. One of the ladies follows our Facebook page I'll message her now out of curiosity
  19. The sawdust will still clog but the blade shouldn't get as gummy,
  20. Try washing up liquid in the water, works on our mixer when were cutting larch or on the re saw we splash a little diesel on the pads which also seems to work for us anyway
