  1. That's what we call olive, very nice and ash doesn't twist or cup half as much as most wood. Stick it away for a year and yurt people buy it by the trailer. Although they do like it to be very straight and knot free

  3. Very nice, shame it's got straight edges on it but very charector full
  4. Cut some table slabs like this, off of the bottom we sold all these as stump wood tables. The customer or yourself just put a sheet of round glass on top and they look stunning

  7. Brown is hard to sell but it's well worth hanging on to, it will sell eventually but someone has to really want it

  9. Brown oak can look lovely when all finished. My first go at making anything was this brown oak show rack

  12. We have got some giant London plain. And the one we have milled so far had more metal than tree
  13. We supply a lot of cedar for decking and larch also, more stable and cheaper than oak
  14. We have never found a reliable one so we are also keen to see what people come up with!

  17. We sell large bundles for £20 softwood and oak from when we trim beams
  18. Well the dust when we were cutting cedar of Lebanon, lol is really fine and made his eyes run. So although a different species still worth wearing a bit of protection from the dust.
  19. Thanks for posting about the toxins in cedar, our lad wore a mask and goggles and even still the next day his eyes were streaming! Think was cos of the dust it's very fine
  20. We were milling some Lebenum today 👍
  21. This is why we set and sharpen all out blades ourselves, obviously this is not easy for everyone but it's one of the basics of running a good mill
