  1. They have no place at work. My dad operated a bench saw whilst stoned and lost half his hand. I have zero tolerence if any of my guys turn up under the influence.
  2. Stihl blower, ryobi hedgetrimmer and a troy bilt garden shredder ^^
  3. On the ground doing some hedge work. A bird flew into my face and my saw caught my leg. Lost about a square cm so not life threatening. I was in shock for about 24 hours but im back at work as of today ^^
  4. Caught my leg with the saw last week. Iv been having real trouble sleeping since :-/

  8. True, but climbing accidents are more common due to the MEWP not relying on the trees structural strength
  9. Personally I love MEWP work, I feel so much safer than in a rope and harness.
  10. The court will sort it out. We cant assume either way atm, but some members of the public seem to be blindly defending them with no idea what went on and the whole process would probably go a lot smoother if we just left the court to it. Just my opinion

  12. No, but I will admit to having a Ryobi as my first hedgetrimmer. Pile of crap lol.
  13. Iv had to cancel some apple tree removals due to the rain. The customer has a "prizewinning" Lawn. All I see is patchy grass
  14. Fiskars feels awkward to use. Id go with the bahco. Saying that, Fiskars have incredible build quality as compared to the bahco.

  19. ARS. Iv been using it for about 5 years and its perfect. Copes with everything big or small.
  20. I once told a customer where he could hire a chipper. He asked what his name was lol.
  21. Im looking for a full/part time groundsman job in the Medway area of Kent starting at some point Early next year. I should have a full driving licence by the new year. Im currently In possession of a National Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture LV3 Merit, CS30, chipper and mewp ticket. Im also an experienced hedgecutter and lawnmower with an NVQ in horticulture. Im not afraid of hard work and am in possession of my own groundsaw and PPE. Thank you for your time. Gus

  25. Ah glad to hear it. A customer gave me it to me in exchange for 5 minutes hedgecutting. Its boxed condition from 2005
