    As far as I'm aware saws are only supposed to run at 2 speeds. Full speed or off.

    Just out of curiosity, whats your favorite saw in your collection and why? Personally I prefer a 2002 stihl 021 because its the first saw I ever used!

    Ours was butchered by our neighbour whilst we were away. I think its more or less recovered now

    I prefer the 261. Its not as unreliable as people think, you only hear the horror stories.
