Newish footage on YouTube of an Osa 250 which has had full workshop respray, hopefully it had good service/refurb also [ame] [/ame] I think the hyd oil tank may be smaller than was on mine, might be wrong though. Kind of wish I hadn't sold mine to be honest.

My friend works as senior HR manager in NHS, she's always circumspect about what she tells... But the stories she does share would make you weep. She's on verge of quitting as even though on good money the insanity is becoming too much.. No arguments from her when I say privatise the whole thing and start again with a clean slate

But how are you so sure it's man made C02 emissions that cause this Steve? As previously stated extreme climate swings are widely documented and nothing new

That's pretty much my feeling Richard, their is documented evidence of massive climate change over the millennia. Why we think crippling western economies to reduce C02 emissions is going to make a big difference is something I can't really grasp. We could however do something right away about burning rainforest (to meet EU biodiesel rules!), the oceans of plastic floating upon the seas, excessive and wrong development, pollution etc etc.

It's the sheer level of incompetence and uselessness that beats me these days. I just posted this on another thread but very apt here: On a slight side note our area was flooded today and the coppers weren't letting cars drive through flood water a foot deep, we had a 4x4 pick up running big wheels which the copper accepted was perfectly capable of going through but his hands were tied. Fair enough. The real stupidity though was when we offered to tow out a van which had got stuck. The answer was no "as it wasn't in the overall plan" to rescue vehicles! I remember about 15 years ago a tractor had its empty (small) timber trailer tip over at a roundabout, the coppers just put a rope on to bolster and pulled it back upright. Gave driver a bollocking and sent him on his way. Can you imagine that happening now? No chance, the road would be closed until a crane arrived.. Truly the age of uselessness

I opened up and widened an old access to a woodland and put pipe in ditch plus hardcore down to allow lorry access, needless to say someone reported me for opening an illegal access and the local national park came down on me like ton of bricks. They wanted all sorts of assessments done via various bodies I'd anticipated that though so had taken lots of photos beforehand showing old gate strainers, the unplanted old track with my truck sitting on it, I'd even photographed where I'd scraped back moss to show old hardcore at gate... So basically could prove there had been access long before the NP started keeping records. I never heard from them again. When the council roads dept turned up though they were very decent and their only concern was that pipe and where entrance joined road had suitable hardcore applied and compressed to ensure didn't damage side of the road. -
It can be an issue but I wouldn't bother changing the tacky level. Rightly or wrongly we used to just thin it out/thicken as required. I've also read that shouldn't mix mineral and rapeseed oil but we used to do that also and never really had any issues.

I've seen those signs in Europe Eggs, as Ted says it's for checking in a legally held firearm/shotgun. You need to have arranged this beforehand though.

I've found manual for Osa 250 along with filter that goes under the cab and hydraulic oil one also.

Are you not thinking of the transmission TCD? Are they linked in a bruunett like they are in Osa 250?

Good post Kevin. Only thing I'd add is that during Mrs Egg's application the licensing officer also spoke with Mr Egg so possibly a good example of the law and process working well... Ie on paper Mr Egg not fit and proper to hold in his own right but firearms officer saw no reason that Mrs E's application should be refused. If Mr E was a bonafide nut job (surely worthy of another thread in own right then I'm sure situation would be different. Long-winded but hope what I mean is clear

So sorry to hear that and this relentless thieving is soul destroying. Just who is doing it? Is it gypos, Eastern Europeans, natives finding cars too hard to steal these days so going for other kit? Something else altogether?? -
That's nonsense. On a related note nature at Chernobyl is thriving, typical article.. What happened to wildlife when Chernobyl drove humans out? It thrived | @GrrlScientist | Science | The Guardian Shows what happens when humans butt out. Quangos take note, instead of "managing" everything just fence your reserves off and let nature get on with it.
