  1.:lol: that will learn ya, We don't have a slip way. Ours is always on the water. The RNLI are trying to work around slipways now. Too many lost fingers. Strangly enough a lifeboat is 88% more likely to get called out in calm weather. It's a very rare occasion for one to go out in rough weather. Something to do with more people being out or something. Still wouldn't change it for the world tho. Love it
  2. I was comtamplating going down the lifeboat station after work and just jumping straight into the water. But then I have seen what's floating around down there.....
  3. :001_tt2: Told you it was fake. Just got the numbers wrong.
  4. Just reminded me seeing you boat gardenkit. How is the engine running on aspen??
  5. I've got to agree it was hot today. I HATE the heat and if there where trees in the North Pole I would be there. Bring on winter.
  6. Stihl 048 could or couldn't be the av. No forget that. The 048 has a lower profile. And is all metal. The rear handle is plastic. Is it a trick one. It's not a sthil 9999 or something is it?
  7. Yep. I threw your adress into the google thingy and found a couple near you. Your first :lol::001_tt2: Should be able to narrow it down a bit by listening for the saw to fire up.
  8. Just remember to leave some space in the bottle. As water expands when it freezes....
  9. Yeah I feel the mankini coming on. Should look good.
  10. My set up. Or was. It's a bit tidier with the ends now. Left them a bit longer so I could try different knots.
  11. Oi. I'm 28 :001_tt2: But I do feel like a stair lift will come in handy  There is nothing wrong with dogging... I mean caravaning  I don't see a problem with a caravan. I actually like the idea. But wouldn't go abroad. Watch this space arbtalkers I could be coming to an area near you.....
  12. I would never have guessed. I in no way plan to be one of those caravaners. Plus with the disco towing it it wouldn't feel like I had it on. (From the back of the rac van :lol:)

    Harness

Yeah lol. There arnt that many fat b******* that actually climb trees. May drop the price a bit but there is a fair bit in the bags.
  14. Buy a silky and just use that. It's very goo door the environment. And it's dirt cheap fuel wise. Also get a good workout on that 9inch stuff.

    Harness

Ok as far as I could tell you its L to XXL. As for a measurement I can't really tell you. My waist is 38 inch. The harness fits lovely. That's about all I can tell you. I'm sure someone on here will be along with the size info.
  16. That's exactly what I want to be able to do Stephen. Just clear off and enjoy some sites.
  17. Yes I have. A stables where I do maintanance work. Already Sorted that part. Just looking for the caravan. Been looking on the bay but second hand ones seem to fetch very good money. Yeah Shane, I could also offer to do driveways aswell.
  18. Ok so now most of he kids have left home and its really just me the other and my son we are looking at getting a caravan. Budget is very very minimal. So basically if its free that perfect  So a question is. Has anyone got one? Second is does anyone on here caravan? See it as being nice to just pack up and clear off on weekends. Get away for a bit and enjoy places.
  19. Hello jeff. Sorry I couldn't do much for you but I do have a business to ruin im afraid. T the high revs may mean a tweak down on the low screw. But this may make the saw run lean. As not Knowing what the saw is like if its gets leaned down too much it will lean sieze. I would pressure vac test it to ensure no air leaks in system. If the tickover screw won't adjust low enough wothout saw stalling out there is anotherrobpem somewhere else. I could look at the other saw for "mates rates" but that is about all I could do for you.
  20. What he said. You could also have an air leak in the saw. This would contribute to needing the choke but normally you need to choke at any time for this to be the case. Sound alike lack of fuel. What colour is the spark plug?
  21. Looking at the chain its definatly not getting enough oil on it. Take it the bar is all nice and clear?
  22. Ok busy day today with lifeboat and shopping. So got on the bench at 6.30pm. Just got in. First was the stiga hedge cutter. Yes I done the recoil. More on that in a min. Next was the ryobi. What a stupid design of engine. But it's stripped and new pump in place. Turned by hand and started oiling. Just need to rebuild the rest of the saw. Have I said what a stupid design it was. So the recoil. Well after much research on youtube and knocking some ideas about I found one that works. This guy is a genius. He has two videos up for those interested where he replaces the zip tie with a can. It really does work and is much easier. I managed to wind it up on my own but another pair of hands would have been easier to bash the nail in at the end. 23. Yeah this is way way way above my head. I can just about figure out the on off button on the iPad. Thank god it hasn't got a keyboard.........
  24. If you EVER think about selling that let me know.
