1. Allergic to antibiotics.
2. Absolutly, positively, unbealeavably the most single disappointing thread title ever on arbtalk...........
3. I will do mine after the show. Will get round to it tomoz as I've taken a diazepam and wouldn't want it to effect my opinion  You provide an excellent service. So what's all this about? And what's it actually for. Is it one of them online reccomenedation services you have to pay for to get on?
4. Wow. Just got back. Not sure about the osteopath at first. Bit unnvering at first. But very professional, but I did get thrown around a bit (felt like it anyway). The back feels a bit better and bending seems to be easier. But still need to take it easy. Also came came up with a problem with my shoulder and my wrist, but I knew about these before. The pain in my leg has gone and now its just a twinge if I move too quick or the wrong way. Booking up some more sessions. Havnt got any tiger oil yet. Need to go boots to get some. Forgot about asking when I left. Many thanks for all your help yet again arbtalk has proven to be a very well worthwhile site.
5. At least it would bounce back up after being thrown out of the tree
6. So its basically a snow shovel with sme teeth bolted to the front. Bet you could make it from ally sheet.
7. That's brilliant. A true way to keep a good moral in an office.
8. Thanks all. The diazepam worked a treat last night. Knocked me clean out. Didn't feel a thing either. Calling osteopath later today. Many thanks.
9.
Thanks will give him a call later today.

10. No I did not know that. Ad won't be telling the missis either. Wouldn't get a moments peace. Yeah 5mg twice a day. Hae read all about the dependency that can come form these. Also a it of a worry.
11. Yeah that's also why I can't go lifeboat for a while. Not ins if I get hurt as I'm on a prescribed hard (ish) drug.
12. Cheers people. Will be looking into the osteo and stuff. Not sure on the ibuprofen. The doc offered that but I can't remember if I'm allergic to it. So he gave me some other ones. Naproxen. Anyway I'm sure the diazepam is starting to kick in. Feeling very lathargic and starting to not worry about the pain much. Going to have a hot bath. By the time I'm done there I will probably be ready for bed. Giving the pillows a miss aswell. Sleep on my front anyway with my arms under my head. Think the most pain is in my leg than my back now. Might swing it past the missis and get one of them Asian girls to walk over me...... Anyway thanks again all. Arbtalk is not always about trees and seems to get very usefull advice on pretty much anything. Will look into local osteo in my area tomoz. Not got any serious stuff booked in until Thursday. Still after last week of none stop work it will be nice to just relax a bit and do nothing.
13. Can you pm me some details please. Just taken the first lot of drugs. So I will be out of it soon. Oh and it also means I'm off the lifeboat, even tho I'm not signed off by a doctor I can't go out on the diazepam.
14. Ok so my back gave up this morning. Went down to cut some stumps and my back have out. Felt like someone hit me with a sledge. Was on the floor for a while and couldn't get up. Was in agony all day. Went to docs and he reckons a trapped nerve. So now I'm on diazepam and anti inflammatory s. So that me not driving for at least a week. So has anyone had it and please please please let me know any tricks of easing the pain. I really can't afford to not drive so trying the diazepam out tonight but if it really buggers me up I'm going to bin it. Means the tools wil be on hold for a while aswell. Not what I want to do.
15. What and listen to you gloating and your head getting bigger...:lol: I think not. :001_tt2: Ok so if I truely get stuck and Barrie can't help its coming to you. Working on d a tree surgeons tipper today. One of the bearings on the prop shaft had disintegrated. Took it apart but could get the shaft apart. Used a 12t puller in the end. What a pig of a job. Also started welding up the step and footwell. As there is nothing left of it. I'm sure some of the French arbs could help with parts for these vans. Renault b120 there called. Big in France aparantly.
16. Well I've not been on it for three days. Had two attempts. :001_tt2: Ok I still have your adress bud. Will send it up to you...........
17. And foot locking. Or the use of a prussik cord as a loop for the foot to sit in.
18. You will have to ask eddie@aspen for that one. As far as I know its the fuel that does the pipes in. Keep petrol going through and its fine it change and they can crack up. The petrol makes them soft, then no petrol makes them brittle. That's how I remember it anyway.
19. Damn you Barrie Ok will try it that way but I can already smell defeat. Chances are you will be getting a call. I see it as either the hours of my time trying to get it sorted v the cost of a new assembly.
20. Not running the 880 for a while is a bad idea. They like working. Sitting in a shed for years does them no good whatso ever. Had to repair one once that wasn't run for a year. The flywheel was shot. Also the fuel lines go horrible if they are drained and then dry out and get filled again. Would the not used off a while 880 saw be a prime candidate for the use of aspen???
21. So with that then I suppose its also up to the job you are using it for. If you are using the extendable pole saw for cutting back to fence lines. Or long reach hadle cutter all day its perfect. Sorry I know all this has been said many times.
22. So currently I'm reading that for time and motion it can make its money back on a few jobs???
23. I used to think if there are any huge trees left out there for the 880, soon changed that view after a few jobs. I love the 880, its just a monster. Should come with a kick start instead of pull start tho.
