    Too hot

Ok so looking at the thermometer in the garden yesterday it reached 32c today so far it's on 24c. This is too hot for me and I'm thinking of booking a flight to Alaska and going crap fishing to cool off. What's the heat doing elsewhere?
  5. Check out the thread arbtalk coming up attack site. It's all in there.
  6. Got to say I always thought my area was scarce on arborists but lately I've seen a lot of vans and tippers goin round. I few are new with brand new sign writing on them others are old banged up wagons.

  9. Ok so now I'm at a dilemma.... Do I offer her a job for felling or not. Not too keen on her cutting method, but she does have some other qualities that I could see I mean use in the forest.......
  10. Haha not sure they would give her a fine. You know how women like to put on the eyes and crying game to get out of something.....
  11. Im sorry. What saw........
  12. But then it's on the books wages. So in theory it doesn't matter what you work like ou are still going to get an hourly wage. Only real exception is groundie, climber etc. Example. Groundie A could be a lazy tyke that does the bear min for his wage Groundie B could be the hardest worker in history who does everything without moaning But in a company on the books they will still get the same money just everyone will want to work with B and he will stand out I front of he bosses and progress to higher things.

Think I need to go see the opticians, I don't see a thing.
  14. Always wanted to be a volunteer RNLI member. Think I might pop down there next chance I get. Looked into the fire service but don't think I could have the mental capabilities for some of the ostuff they have to do. I love the water and with size 13 feet I can swim.
  15. Used to have two boats, a 17ft fishing boat with evenrude 75 hp on it for fishing the channel and a 20ft leisure boat for pottering about in the channel but not anymore. Sold them to fund new business. Still go out fishing but on a charter boat now. Not too bad 35ft boat so goes out in almost all weather for 40 quid.
