  1. Nah it's got to be splashed with a drizzle of Worcester sauce...... Another thing I've gotten into is cider vinigar.
  2. Yeh coz if I order a replacement tool I always sell it on as my old tool has miraculously fixed itself and works perfect.
  3. Don't like doing things by half hay.
  4. Listen to all the ouchs from everyone. Pah man up and get on with it.
  5. Suns out but rained all night so grass cutting out for the day. Suppose to rain again afternoon, so it's a day in the shed with the tools for company. Might even put the log burner on in the shed just to keep me warm.
  6. That is some shocking work Oh I thought it was a name and shame type thread.
  7. 026 is running..... Yay jumping around the shed with joy. Thanks for the info spud. Went straight for pressure test by blanking off intake, exhaust, spark plug, and no leaking anywhere. Took the carb apart and spent time inspecting it and low and behold the metering arm was lower than the raised ridge so when pressing it with a finger it worked but the diaghram wouldn't. Raised it up, put saw back together and runs like new. Again thanks spud, always good to have a bit of backup when needed. I would love to plug your head into a laptop and download the info you've got in that brain.
  8. I really don't think she wanted to jump from that plane....
  9. Or are they buying from another country shipping them in and selling them on? Could be completely legit and fine. They are not selling them cheap like most knockoff sellers. So your not thinking your getting a bargain and getting stung.
  10. Dean that makes me feel toasty just looking at it. Damn it I need to get rid of the open fire and get me a burner. Love the kettle on the top idea aswell. And dave, no one likes a show off.
  11. Ok I will give it a good going over. My vac/pressure tester has broken (I dropped it on the floor and the pressure gauge hit the floor and broke) Waiting for new one. It's definatly nothing to do with a supply of fuel from the tank. All is good there. Carb has been us cleaned. Will check the membrane with a light. Without a tester I can't check the seals so until I get one that will have to be the last test. I did try and get a 260 carb on but stihl being stihl have changed the carbs just enough that they look the same but the high low screws have a raised block around them that means it won't fit. If that makes sense. I havnt got another 026 carb to try. Again excellent advice spud and I will be trying these things out tomoz before ordering a new carb.
  12. Blimey, well done you but I'm suprised they havnt had you on some health and safety grounds like they do every time someone try's to do something like that.
  13. F r jones and sons. Aren't they fairly close...
  14. Other items show a brand new stihl strimmer aswell.
  15. I got a saw I'm having trouble with, I've posted on your bench thread, any chance of your input please?

  16. My exact first thought. Maybe ask a question if they can supply the numbers on them?
  17. NEW STIHL MS 201 T/TC CHAIN SAW - RELISTED DUE TO TIME WASTER | eBay This one?
  18. We both have a (if it is the right word) dislike, of the breeds we both like/hate. It is a lot to do with the training of hothead animals as it is with most pets. Due to the nature of those things next door I will not trust the breed, doesn't mean that every breed needs to be put to shame. I man I do digger work for has a roty, he is the biggest one I have seen as is as wide as he is tall. He has gone for a few people I know who have approached him wrong in not waiting for him to suss them out rather they have tried to approach him and been growled barked at. In fact he is one of the nicest rot I have known, I waited for him to suss me out and offered my hand by my side so he could smell me out, now if I work in the workshop on any machine he will come and lay next to me if I'm on the floor and will gladly share my lunch and have a play. Much to his owners horror as I feed him tid bits. But I would still not turn my back on him and trust him too much due to the ones next door. The roties name is murphy by the way. I own a German Shepard x Alsatian by the way. The eldest has a staff.
  19. Think if anyone doesn't believe maybe they should spend a while in my house. I've seen a full blown shadow at the top of my stairs, when i got up thinking it was my boy getting out of bed after it was there for about 10 mins I went to look and as I got near the door it moved into my room, went up boy was in bed fasto. I looked in my room and nothing there. Was sitting in the living room and a bouncy ball flew off the shelf, and I mean flew off the shelf and landed a foot away from me. It flew 10 feet. When it landed it didn't bounce.... My boy left one of his battery operated cars in the middle of the floor, sitting there watching tv it moved twice on the floor, both times about a foot. Me thinking it was something to do with battery's or interference from something I picked it up and looked at battery's, one of the battery's was back to front, and the switch was off, so I took them out and put it back on the floor. Some time later it moved again exept this time it shot off under the sofa and hit the wall. I've seen and heard noises and the other half has heard some wierd things going on, we set up cameras a few times in the house and bed coverings moving was the most caught thing that happens. It still happens now and we don't worry about it, no one has been hurt by anything strange and as one person said on here it's not the dead you need to worry about its the living. Sometimes it quite entertaining.
  20. This 026 is starting to do me in. Stripped and cleaned today. Checked impulse line and carb boot. Both ok. Carb is clean as a whistle, comp at 160 cold, spark is good. Now she will run if both high low screws are out as far as they will go but at full throttle she will rev up and down. At factory settings she will run on idle for a few secs then die. I have got it to the stage of running on tickover then the moment the throttle is touched she dies. Will not start with throttle held in either. If I hold the choke closed pull throttle then release choke she will rev like crazy then die. Any help? Oh and it has been bugging me today, what running problems would mean the welch plug needs sealing off?
  21. It's the wrong colour and has the wrong name on it. Should be green with John Deere on the side.....
  22. True. Different harnesses fit different people. What's comfy for one person is not always comfy for another. With your budget you can get an all singing all dancing harness, but it must be comfy for your build and type.
  23. That's some thick black smoke coming front that thing. Gotta love artic steering.
