  1. Just hire one of these. Although overheating is common when going through dusty brash. And air filter can get bunged up aswell.
  2. Sorry no advice. But have to say the most confusing thread title ever.
  3. I didn't even register the email address until I read your post, then I had to read it twice. Auto correct would have a heart attack with that one. Hope you find a good candidate by the way
  4. This is something people forget easily. Conscription was a major part of both wars. And people seem to forget they had no choice. And shellshock was not recognised in the First World War but was rather seen as desertion or coward ness. Every soldier who fights in any war gets my full and upmost respect.
  5. I can agree with you on this. It's a tool hp just like any other. The only thing that gets people up is the fact that it can be used one handed. Bit like a gun can be used one handed, just because it can doesn't mean you will. Don't think there is really much of a case for all this anymore as other top handles are available now and with the Internet it's not actually necessary to go to a dealer to buy one apwhen you can order online and just sit back and wait for the postman. And really the cheap top handles can be more dangerous than the pro made saws. We have all seen the cheap Chinese copies of saws and everyone has said how dangerous they look.....
  6. Read the specs on it. It's small yet weighs 3.7kg....... Liking it.
  7. There it is 101 reasons to buy a mog.
  8. Nope impulse from the crankshaft caseing. I'm sure it has one.
  9. Ok. I've got a bet on this. Is the impulse line been put back in??
  10. I'm sure there was a mod to remove some of the plastic as it gets in the way. Will do some research.
  11. That's good. Shame One of the wall mounted ones are in the workshop Not much good when an hour away from the workshop tho.
  12. I'm wondering about the title. If the crankshaft housing is original and the rest is fake/aftermarket. Then he has done nothing wrong other than say that the rest of the parts are not genuine....
  13. He's copied the description straight from the manual.
  14. Ok I only said type one as he said he already had hardcore down. Some place you don't want hardcore as if you are tipping chippings there you will want to scrape them up at some point and its easier to do this on mud than a nice hard standing.
  15. Tracked hardcore. Clippings will turn to mush soon and make it a whole lot worse. From experience. Get some type one in and track it in with a large 360 excavator. It will crush down like concrete and will be a lot better.
  16. Yep. We had a spare chain but couldn't find it for the 088. And we had run out of .404 on the reel for it. Had spare chains for the others but it made no difference at all. It was one of those jobs that every cut at the start hit metal. And it wasn't the average nail either. They where burried deep and about 3/4 inch thick. The owner of tree did day there was a tree house in it when he was a kid. THe metal detector didn't really pick much up. (Probably density of timber) Anyway it's been put down to experience.
  17. I usually always prefer the hand file, unless the chain is that gone that it needs the grinder. It was just one of hose jobs where it was getting dark quick and the lumps needed cutting. Hand filing was too slow, so was hinting about a 12 volt grinder as the chains where knackerd anyway and got binned after the job.
  18. I could see dog tags coming in good use when getting brash through a garage. Plenty of uprights to keep the brush close in. Not sure on getting big lumps of timber on it tho.
  19. Can anyone tell me how to work my rear wiper the right way. I know it sounds strange, it's the button that is bugging me. I push it once and the wiper works three times. I push it again and it's once, then the wiper goes off twice, I push the button again an dit goes off three times. It's a disco 1990. Annoying when I only want it to clear the back once and it carries on down the road.
  20. D a tree surgeons has a picture of my blooper from a short while ago. I will pm him and get him to post it up. Should be good for a laugh.
  21. Done the parade in Dover with the lifeboat. It still gets me when the silence happens and everything is quiet and peacefull.
