  1. The animals are getting respected. They are being shot to allow medics to train in saving our soldiers lives. Plus I'm sure every soldier at the after hog roast is very respectfull to the delicious pork that is on offer....
  2. IMO I really don't see what the problem is. They have to get training somehow. No amount of classroom or working in a and e will ever train anyone to handle a combat situation as a medic. Pigs are close to human anatomy. If it means they train on just shot pigs and it will save lives on the battlefield because the medic doesn't freeze and just sit there then so be it.
  3. I never tried sushi. Wanted to but not going to buy the rubbish stuff from tesco. There is a place in a shopping centre close to me that has a sushi bar. Think I will have to try that next time I'm there.
  4. So I keep hearing but still can't wait. The 200t is getting tired and needs updating. Again not my saw, the boss still can't get over knocking the off switch with his half a digit.
  5. That's the one cheers. Yeah I know now. Thought it was. Looking into other top handles other than stihl and what they are like. Not sure about waiting for the new husky. It's a long way away.
  6. Thanks skyhuck. I was waiting for a sudden backlash with a few jokes thrown in. Guess silky is on the ball tonight.
  7. Damn it. Can admin chage the title please to an old thread... Many thanks.
  8. There was a thread a while ago about guessing what saw was on a bench... It was a big guessing game think it was dartmoor timber cutter who started it but I can't be sure and can't find it. Anyone remember what it was?

  10. Yay a 200t. I've currently had three of those done. Got another to look into aswell. So what is happening when you try and tune it?? Need a lot more info than what you are saying. Anything and everything is a good starting point. Oh and a location please. There are loads on here who would be able to help but need the info. Did the dealers say they couldn't get it running?
  11. Goaty on the one I had there was a small cylinder just in front of the ram that pumps it up. I found the jack would not go up and stay up. When pumped it would rise a few inches then drop again. If this is the can look for the small cylinder. Has one way valves in it. They are a ball bearing with a spring and a small plastic x shape cover. If you prize the plastic cover out carefully the spring may have moved. All I done was relocate the spring and the jack works a treat. Worth trying the valves with an air line to make sure they are one way. Oh and the magnetic bench is very strong as that is a five ton trolley jack on it.
  12. Use it as a marketing part to get the digger out more. An extra attachment. Would also probably widen your market for the hire.
  13. Hear hear. As I said I would be interested but I'm too far away. It's perfect for a student or someone who just wants some beer money. Can I ask if the day is negotiable by the way??
  14. Forecast brilliant sunshine tomorrow and getting warm next week......
  15. I would do it but I'm afraid your too far away. As its been said its a good little earner on a Sunday. Although I wouldn't choose a Sunday to do it. It would be a Saturday or Friday job.

Are you wondering why it was going cheap now?? I do think the older ones are crank leakers by the way. The one I've seen used and been using does not like being used up a tree and going from hanging to being used sideways. It looses a lot of power on its side. And it is the older one with the flat head bolts.
  17. You have to go to the forum topic of your choice first. Most relevant to what you want to talk about. So for example. If I wanted chainsaw advice I will scroll down to the bottom of the page and there is a drop down menu. Called forum jump. Scroll on this until you see chainsaws, got to this and at the top there is a tap called new thread. This is how its down.
  18. Sorry Tom did you post something in this thread????
  19. It's got to be mine. Mine looks like its a Working bench  Ok I will wait until a deal is done on my new workshop and I get it kitted out then I will take some pics.
  20. I would love nothing more to say that it's mine as I would love one. But it's not I'm afraid. The yard is d a tree surgeons. And the digger was a local bloke who does hardcore etc. we borrowed it for the morning so we could actually clean up and have some space. Would have loved of have a huge 360 in as I could have done a few more bits. But the backhoe was better as I could just scoop up the timber and move it easier. Was a nice relaxed morning and for once I was shouting the orders and getting dave to run around me for once.
  21. I know some reason my pictures are posting upside down. Admin please help.....
  22. Just watched that twice. He throws his climbing line up then attaches it. He then pulls up on the line and comes around the tree. Then takes the flip line off and down he comes. Does look like he only attaches one end of the line to himself. If you look when he throws the line up he onto attaches the end he has hold of not the end he threw up.
  23. Why does my pictures always post upside down or sideways??? Here is an after.
