  1. It's down to a good driver or bad. My car has a speed of 120mph on the speedo. Doesn't mean I will drive that fast..... Drive according to the road and what you are driving. 24t will take a long time to stop, and those tight little country lane bends mean big trouble for going too fast. I've pulled overweight trailers just by carrying a full tank of diesel in a John Deere. We had to limit the tank to half. I don't get why they would call an agri trailer high speed anyway.
  2. Yep limit to 20mph unless under air brakes and indispension. So fastrac or mb trac only. Even then you will only get possible 40 out of fastrac. Not forgetting stopping distance with that amount of weight.
  3. If the plastic is broken and its your own tool can you not just resin the plastic back together??
  4. Yeah sorry I forgot you need the small adaptor kit for the tester. A car tester will still work. If you could get it tested by a dealer just so you know the psi that will give you a good clue.
  5. If you brake really hard with the tailgate down it will even load the tipper for you.
  6. Ok what I thought. Just havnt been to the workshop today so been running through it in my head.
  7. I try to close my eyes when I look at the mileage on my disco. It makes me cringe.
  8. A quick question over the ht131 four mix engines. Should it run if the valve cover is off???
  9. Ahh damnit. I'm still getting good at these quizzes tho. I Might have to come up with one and make it a little bit harder for everyone. Its got to be an old dolmer or and old stihl then.
  10. Gardenkit has made something similar for a husky. But he has used the plug tool. I will look into what saw it was. Edit. Found it http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/33857-whats-your-bench-today-145.html Although doesn't say what saw it was.
  11. Just as a last thought from me. Check the diff oil levels. My old landy used to whine and one day the axle locked up on me. It's probably not your problem but while your under there checking oil levels on gearboxes check the diff oils. Is usually the one that gets missed.
  12. I'm not getting an email telling me when I get private messages, have looked and user cp options and the box is ticked to get them.
  13. Hahaha a mechanics screwdriver is a very large ball pain hammer.
  14. It's a bit like the matrix this site. Seeing what's changing. Soon we will see all the ones and zeros.
  15. Ok. So the older ones are not so easy. I will give you that.
  16. I found this out about getting the exhaust back. I found that the bolts will hold the gasket in place on the end of the threads. You can also undo to two bolts holding the lower part of the cover off and it gives you just enough room to easily slide the exhaust and gasket down in place without it falling down. But I'm telling you to suck eggs again. Sorry.
  17. couldn't agree more. An day fitting rubbish cheap knockoff parts that look good but don't last long.
  18. A comp tester will test the cylinder compression. A pressure test will test the seals in the crank casing. Sounds like it will run as it probably wouldn't run at all with no compression. Wear abouts are you in the country?? I did a similar thing with a 200t yesterday. Made a good one out of two scrap saws. Need a few parts for it as some have got lost in the shed ahem (d a tree surgeons ) One of the saws I have had in is a rough running problem much like the carb issue, but a good carb soon eliminated that problem. Try putting a known working carb on it. Only takes a few mins to change over.
  19. Oo ohh running a 200 with the clutch cover off. You just want to play a game of hide and seek there. Lol. I take it with all the work you have done to it you pressure tested the saw?? The adjustments are standard saw adjustment. Tickover so the bar doesn't run. Low and high I think are 1 turn out on high and 3/4 out on low. The high and low could be other way round.
  20. Ipad2 3g didn't see the point in bigger one. I don't have any pic apps on it. Will look into them.
  21. Sorry took me a while to relise what you edited. Lol Yeah I couldn't figure out how to rotate the pic.
  22. Better than before:thumbup: I couldn't upload any pics from iPad without tapa.
  23. Thought I would give it a try. Yep I can upload directly from iPad but only one image at a time per post And not using tapatalk
