1. Have you pressure tested the saw? With the carb and compression out of it I'm wondering if a seal has been ill fitted. A pressure test will solve this one.
2. Hmmm without a few diagnosis being made not much help from me. Could be a fuel issue. Could be a tank issue. To be honest there are a few things to look at. Spud or gardenkit will be along I'm sure. Do you know what has been tested or tried on the saw? Just to eliminate a few obvious things?
3. Think he means the product catalogue rather than the filthy dirty thing they send out free..... Horrible it is. Not one piece of ppe in sight. Ghastly horrible. I just can't stop looking at it in disgust
4. I did wounder today why some blokes asked me if there was a hmv near me in town... Wish I had gone over there now. Doesn't suprise me tho, I always thought there prices where too high in the first place.
5. Looking at tose pics I'm with gardenkit. That flywheel looks terrible. And it will do some damage to you if it comes apart. Better safe than sorry so scrap it. Or sell the parts off it (other than flywheel)
6. Just done 30 and 31 with kingswood. Learnt a lot. Good trainers, very relaxed sort of atmosphere, found the course very intensive with instructors who knew there stuff. Was a good course IMO and will be using them again for sure.
7. They mean that you can have ins. They mean that you can get forestry work (nptc not lantra, I think. Or it was anyway, not sure now) they mean you can get bigger contracts with large companies I.e building firms. They in no way mean you are good at the job, just that you have been trained and tested in the proper and safe working practise of the use of a chainsaw and or climbing equipment in trees. Also lowering equipment aswell. A college qualification means that you are a competent tree surgeon. Or uni. (Could also be that you have been doing it sooooo long that you know everything about trees and the way they act or have to be cut to get the most out of them anyway) That's the way I see it anyway
8. Dan is right they are not designed to hold heavy saws. Think Steve or someone on here uses a big strimmer harness to hold the weight of the saw when climbing or moving around. I have various bits that I might not need on tool holders on the back. Spare prussik s and carabs so hey are out the way behind me, yet all the stuff I will need straight away on the sides. But then I don't climb to work just to rec.
9. Fill it up and pull the starter normally helps...... Sorry bit sarcastic. Just do it as per normal.
10. More snow falling here. Better than the rain. So can't moan.
11. What he said. Also you own urine is a very good deterant. Mark you own property with it.
12.:lol: Now com on spud just when I though you were moving to the green side. But then the A word is taboo.
13. Isn't aspen suppose to be green as its enviro friendly........
14. Just started snowing down here.
15.
Waited since before Xmas. We booked early to get them in after Xmas. Not sure how busy they are. Could try and see what they have got I suppose. I will be looking into cs32 aswell but for now I just want to get the saw fixing off the ground and get going properly with it. I got one of the blokes 200ts from kingswood to fix at the moment. Hopefully it will be a very good contact for me.

16. I'm waiting to see how many 201s are cast aside when the husky makes it debut.
17. There's loads being sold. Most are commercial who don't see the point in spending out for repairs when they can just buy another. Some are larger companies where the operators don't get the choice of saw. And most sold is because there is no other choice as the new husky isn't out yet....
18. Oh dear oh dear...... Visor up and head over bar. Tut tut. Only joking I'm it that sad. Nice pictures. I have noticed a few dots of the orange around he pic tho.

Urm, yeah. We kind of had to stop that as once when the boat was out a twitcher took a pic of it out (before my time there) and it was a great pic. But there was a line off the back and the coxswain was on the stretcher being towed behind....... Kind of got a telling off and don't do it anymore.

And another. Got to be the best one I have so far. Think I might have to get some picture frames out. Any millers out there who can make picture frames?

23. About the same weather I have here. If a little bit on the fresh side.
24. Davie. Get your cs30 and 31 as that is the basic ticket any employer will look for before even considering you. Aster that its then down to what tickets you as to what you want to do.
