  1. When I done it I used a really clever little gadget called the "calculator" and whatever the assessor tells you, you can use one.
  2. Second that. I'm on a total of 6 now. 7 if you include the one I stripped and made a good one from two. The first one was the hardest as trying to figure out as the symptoms of the carb issue and bad crank seals are the same so you end up in circles.... I love working on the 200t saws and love them.
  3. First got back a page and loo at gardenkits post over it. Second if you mean the worm gear then its anti clockwise turn while gently pulling on it after clutch removal. And it's the first one alvin.
  4. That's one I was looking at but was t sure how versatile it was. I do now and its added to my shopping list. Thanks Barrie.
  5. Ok. Send it one of us on here. I'm sure we can take a good look.
  6. I'm waiting for the first picture followed by the ban
  7. How is the loader had attached... I've got this thing in my head about the draft position needing to be in the right setting for them to run smoothly. If its wrong the arm will lift so far and then judder up and down a bit. Like they won't want to settle in one position. I'm tired and feeling rough so sorry its not a great description.
  8. I think wanting to be seen is called dogging. Pat. It would all depend how good looking the women was:lol: if she would happen to look like anything from the fav tv girls thread I'm in. Your right over scaring them and the worry over your own property being damaged... Maybe get someone else to give them a fright and they may not know it was anything to do with you.
  9. What joints did get used for the table? Impressive shelfs.
  10. Nice pic. There is also one more place that also goes if its not the orange bit and that's the white rocker part that it rubs against. This lip can also go.
  11. Well bang goes the roast dinner. Especially after the graphic descriptions....... I have gagged on a few before when I've sniffed hard and they have got stuck at the back of my throught.... This is not a good look. Hurts aswell. The ones I get after a day of engines and grinding are normally black as axle grease and feel like they are welded to my nose. These ones are a bit crunchy to taste tho.....
  12. To Be honest without looking at the clutch its hard to say. But. They are designed to take some abuse and the smoke would be a warning to the user that something is wrong. Designed so that the clutch will kick in before damage to tractor. Best to check the clutch over but unless they are noticeably worn and the clutch is rattling about there is no real worry there. Not any adjustment as the springs are designed to do any wear adjustment so if these rattle about then the plates need changing. Unless you where sitting there with it stuck in the tree smoking for ages then I wouldn't really worry. Just inspect it and give it a pull and push about.
  13. We will probably never know who they are or were. Naming and shaming it allowed. Enjoy a bit of time off doing something a little bit relaxing with the woodland. Take the time to sort out your head and try and resolve a new approach to any work you wish to do. Don't dwell on the past from now on if only to learn from any mistakes. Don't be tempted to get rid of any gear you have acquired either. It will be harder to get it back again. Maybe do some days contract climbing or work and the like for people you know and can trust. Keep at it and never give up. All the best for the future and whatever path you choose.
  14. And after it was sign written and I got it stuck in a hole
  15. Ok. Sorry I didn't before. It's these type of ones. It belongs to d a tree surgeons. Heaths two of them.
  16. What he said.... I had to delete an entire post because I got beaten to it.. Edit. While I'm thinking about it it could be the worm drive on the crank under the clutch and drum, worn out on one side causing it to oil for a bit then come off the thread and causing it to stop. Or the worm arm is not sitting on the drum properly?
  17. What I mean is if the saw has been pulled over and you remove the fuel line from carb does it squirt a load of fuel out!
  18. It's more about a laugh than tree work. After all it would just be boring without some make believe mistakes.
  19. So I guess back to the op is learn to sharpen by hand with file then.
  20. Ok then..... No fuel getting into carb. Is the tank getting pressure? Is the impulse line on right and working. Is the diaphragm on the right way up. Is the plug wet after trying to run. The carb has been cleaned but is it actually clean. Are the holes and channels clear. Is the meter valve working like it should and set right? Is the comp good?
  21. Send it my way mate. Ar worst will cost you the postage for me to check it over.
  22. Could be. Try the old trick of removing the fuel filler cap.
  23. Looking to set up a contact for getting parts for the above van. Have to of them to look after and finding parts is getting to be a pain. Especially for the bits that are only made for these types. I know the engines are the same as the old messenger vans. But it's the small parts. I know these vans are used in France a lot so I guess I'm sniffing around the French arbs for any help aswell. It's going to get to a point that keeping them will become an issue for parts as they are a fantastic van and worth there weight in gold. (They are not mine by the way I just look after the maintance on them.
  24. Sounds like a fuel issue. Injectors maybe? They will rev high and then die when they are starved of fuel. Greenmech does exactly the same thing. Have you cleaned out the air filter and rad??
  25. What's wrong with it Peter..? Or is it just going for a bit of spud special spa treatment.
