  1. Archer is 35. I found this as the filing guides havnt got 35 on them. The stihl is 30. But that semi chisel.
  2. As stubby has said. If you still have the box the chain came in then it should be on th e back of it. Along with every other type of chain that maker sells.
  3. Makers have different angles. Think the stihl is 35 the Oregon is 30. On semi. On archer chains for full chisel is 20.....
  4. That they are cashing in on all that metal they just unearthed doing a horrible clearence job??.
  5. Well done to all. Trouble starts from here. And ends when she is 18
  6. A cage for the telehandler costs even less. I've worked from a telehandler before, cleanin grain stores. They are a good bit of kit. But as treequip said, probably didn't want to get the handler scratched.
  7. Ok. You can keep that junk. I will have the m15 carbine at the top. At least I will not run out of ammo as there wil be loads lying around:thumbup: Just need to source an m203 under slung for it and I'm good. But then the m85 would also have to travel with me aswell.
  8. They managed to give some of our ships a good kicking. We had to "secretly" try and buy every Exeter missile we could to try and stop the attacks on ships. Hardly an easy enemy.....
  9. Top man gardenkit. Will check it out later. Stuck at home for now waiting for land rover parts to be delivered... I hate waiting.....
  10. Go on go on Go on go on Go on go on Go on go on Go on go on Go on go on Go on go on Go on go on
  11. Agree. If something came back and what I had done didn't fix it. But the parts where justified I would give it a second chance and parts cost only.
  12. Clear it I'd can't message you.
  13. How it go bang Jon?? Do you know? Not good.
  14. Agg, it should sit flush with the inside of the carb. Not the part the diaghram sits on but the lower inner part. If that makes sense.
  15. Thanks. Again an age of experience and information available.
  16. Done this on a few land rover tanks in the past. And the odd tractor and combine tanks aswell. Not hard to do at all. Just remember to empty the tank of all fuel before you go cutting with power tools:blushing:
  17. I see what your saying about the screws. Except the carbs don't have the h and l screws. Not that I can see anyway. They are a strange one. They are running perfectly now. Will find out in a few days. The 280 has auto tune on the h screw. Will see when I'm testing it. I've seen the w and z testers on ebay once but not sure if they are still available. Will have a look. One thing I havnt got yet.
  18. Glad it's running. Gardenkit its the part we all don't see, the users abilities, what test they have completed. And the important part is there own competence. No a go at anone just a general statement. We know that if a saw is on our bench we all have a list on our heads of the tests we work with and the order in witch we carry them out. So for us its easy. But trying to find out what they have or havnt done and how they have done it. Also a factor is everyone giving pieces of advice and many giving other tests to carry out before they have completed the first one. Just what happens on forums with people. I like to think we are all good at what we do. I have been praised again today as the mower if fixed has never run that well since new. A very satisfied feeling it is.
  19. Urgh. Coastguard.... So you don't want to do any REAL work then???:lol: Lifeboat crew is the frontline,,..
  20. I've always had arguments with people about her. I always said that other than war she did bring us out of the mines. Whether peopl elite it or not. We would still be mining if she hadn't. The subject of war is something I'm not interested in. She had balls and used to call the SAS her boys. Says it all really.
  21. It always goe to the highest person possible before coming back down the chain. The manager (call them what you will) is responsible to ensure any site is safe and secure, if its not then protections need to be out in place. These are then passed down the chain in the form of risk assessments. Then everyone coming onto said sight must read and understand these. If they do not understand then they need to be shown or explained to. If they break these then they are on there own. As it will be proven from the risk assessment. If no rock assessments have been made then the main contractors or managers are in trouble for ensuring the sight was safe and the work carried out was in accordance with the various standards or industry practices. Etc.
  22. Busy day today. Some tree work morning. Then two Kawasaki strimmers. One was. Running fine after a fettle with the meter valve. The other is strange, it will run fine one minute but then it won't start. Hot, cold, just takes forever. Will die on tickover sometimes but will always rev and stay high. Just tickover. Swapped the carb for the other one and same things. Checked the gaskets, spacers and metering valve. All seem ok. The return to the tank seems old and a bit lose. Could this be it? But I did change it with the other carb. They both seem to run fine when I finished. Will see when testing them out properly. The other was an ms280. This saw has been a thorn. It was running a bit rough when it was used. Bit now its worse. It won't start without choke and will not tickover. Have to hold full throttle to get it to start. Will die if let to go tickover. But can be regained if throttle pulled. Much the same symptoms as the 200t and crank seals. Will need to test it later. So a question for all the techies. What does everyone know about metering valves and there settings, I know some carbs have a ridge that they get set to but others don't, so the question is. Is there a general setting without the use of testers?
  23. I did try a thong to work once... Only the once. I prefer the hot pants now. Much more support.
  24. Either you need a solicitor or one of those now win no fee people to look into it. Can't help any with experience.
