  1. Reckon your just showing your age there Jon.....
  2. Maybe its a battery saw. You know being all Eco friendly and all that.
  3. Kneeling down. The hands are wrong. And crash test dummies should be used in cat tests, not cutting down trees........
  4. Yes the flywheel is tight. It doesn't have a key but rather the flywheel is machined with a bit in it that would be the key. Why I was thinking that it isn't the right flywheel but looking at parts list one isn't listed so not sure if its suppose to have one. But the slot in the crank and the bit in flywheel look good an dont worn. The flywheel doesn't move on the crank either. This is the second one I have heard of as someone else I know I was talking to had one with the exact same problem. I did think about packing the flywheel up a bit to bring it up closer to the pull start assembly. But this wouldn't work. More likely to destroy the seals under it. Looked at the pull start and all is good with that. Will look into a whole new flywheel and starter. If the customer wants this route. But he is a stihl man so probably get rid of it.
  5. Pesky husky hedge cutter on bench tonight. Had a look at flywheel and I'm not sure it's the right one. Had no markings on it. No amount of fiddling would get it to pull over right. And due to this I can't tune it. It's a bit strange aswell. When it does get going if I tune it to running perfect wen I stop and then start it again the tuning is way off. Oh well back to square one. Time for a really good clean out and full check. Well look into the flywheel aswell. Got an ms250 in aswell. Was running then died and now won't restart. One for tommorow as I'm home and I'm knackerd.
  6. Can I enter this one..... All this was done with one and no 088 saw in sight
  7. SEALEY VACUUM & PRESSURE TESTER & BLEED TOOL KIT | eBay
  8. They don't look worn and he pawls are not tight in movement but the bolts are tight. I'm leaving it until tommorow now. Not going to start playing with it again. I'm still getting evils over sharpening a chainsaw on the kitch work top from last night.
  9. And then who would help me when these spawn of satain machines come in then???? Plus I'm not sure they would know a pull start from a spark plug. Maybe I could get you to join one just to get away from me. reckon you would be porting there hitting needles by the end of the day. Going to have a nose at the flywheel and catchers tomoz. If I don't walk out the door without it again. Looked at the manual and there is nothing there that is standing out as being wrong not he machine. The cutter runs perfectly just need some oil and a sharpen. It's just the starter that's annoying. I will get there soon enough. Oh and sorry to the op for the high jack.
  10. Yep right number. Exept the 01 at the end.
  11. What makes me laugh is when they do it, then look around to try and figure out where it came from. Or they move away.
  12. Well I guess asking if anyone has a parts diagram or service manual. So I can check to see if anything is missing from the starter assembly or the flywheel is right. Looking at it nothing looks amiss or modded.
  13. Yep I must remember to put stihl only on my invoices in future. they parts are fine, its the engineering that's a fault. The pull works perfectly if I put my hand on the top of it. And I don't even have to push down. The catcher parts are fine. Perfect condition and in the rough place.. When turning slowly with top pressure I can look into it and see the are making contact. Without pushing they slip off. Lets face it there saws are fine. But this make of hedgecutter is pants. The engine may be good but the plastics are not. Nothing anyone can say about it will change my mind either:001_tt2:
  14. Houston we have a problem.... I have just checked the plastic... It has the year stamp. 2012. It has EM original on it. Made in Sweden. And the number 503 77 63.......
  15. :001_tt2::001_tt2::001_tt2::001_tt2::001_tt2: Speak for yourself. I bet you have opened up more 200t saws and modded them than husky saws...... Anyway if sniffing petrol all day does what it has done to you then I'm all for the aspen route.
  16. No the one in is all secure, second thing I checked after ensuring the two screws are holding like they should. The thing is the front cowling has four screws in it. Yet the recoil has only two. Would have been better engineering to have two screws on the the front cowl and four on the recoiled seeing as this part takes the most abuse from a user. But then I don't work for husky so what do I know.
  17. Not sure try any dealer on here. Need to check an IPL to see if any other fit.
  18. Primer bulb I've got one these in for repair. Don't like the build on the recoil. Two screws holding it down are not enough IMO. Don't like these hedg cutters at all. Just my opinion tho. Be carefull with the plastic part in the recoil. Check out the bench thread. A few pages back. The one I have in is wearing away quick. Looking into if its a reproduction part or a husky oem part. But this wearing quick.
  19. The screws act like a one way valve. Air in no fuel out. Try moving them along the pipe a small amount so the thread pick up on new pipe. See if it cures it. Other than that a new pipe.
  20. Walked straight out the door this morning completely forgetting to take the hedge cutter with me..... Doh. Got an ms200t coming in in the next few days. Seized piston. Got an meeting with one of the brothers of ovendans plant machinery to look into being there contact for there small machines. Think I'm going to get busy....
  21. Roughly every 40 hours. If you are talking about the bearings. Just a few pumps.
  22. That's due to the design of the choke and throttle levers. The 200t is forward for off. If they changed they would be too much like husky and they REALLY are poo :001_tt2:
  23. Is this anything like it? STIHL CHAINSAW 020 020 AV COIL ---- BOX1350T | eBay It's form America but from what I can see might be the only choice. I don't have a IPL for this saw so dont know what others may fit. Think spud or gardenkit has tho.
  24. Argh. They make my skin crawl. Not by what rep they have. Just the way they are. There culture does nothing for me. There teenagers dress like street walkers. I just don't like there customs. Pure and simple. So long as it doesn't get shoved down my throat let em get on with it...(well some things anyway)
  25. Where is it located??? Scrap that found it. But it's filthy so can't read it. On the gearbox. Well get a closer look tommorow. I'm not like spud and work on saws til god knows what hour.
