  1. I have got the same but only on my flip line
  2. I think the 260 or 261 would suit for work, just remember your only aloud to have a maximum 15" bar on a saw when doing your cs30/31
  3. It might be an idea Adam to gain permission to climb the the biggest trees if you could organise something like the 3 peaks challenge ,ie climb three off the biggest in a day and raise money for a given charity. Most people wouldn't refuse I would have thought. Just an idea I would love to be involved but it would have to be earlier in the year for me.

  12. Duxford hire at whittlesford or greens at hadleigh Ipswich or bts at needham market. Greens and bts probably better ones but a bit further .
  13. Thanks for your reply. you are what's known as bodger then, making Windsor chairs with green wood and on a pole lathe. Always the wrong name given considering what people use the term for now. Very clever craftsman in my opinion .
  14. Do you use a bevel skew chisel to turn the final cut on the bats . one of the best chisels once mastered that leaves a finish without the need to sand ,and do you use a piece of wire to make the marks on the handles . Sorry for all the questions just interested what others use. Thanks
  15. Mine normally both import to photos on my mac
  16. Thanks, will have to try that
  17. Good job. Did you use a copping lathe or done free hand for the rounders bats. Also I have seen the babies rattle you made silky fox on his thread ,well done with the wooden ring on it , I have a lathe but never have tried that I know you need a special chisel to do it
  18. You don't get nothing for nothing, if you did actually get one would it work and if it didn't you have lost your money
