  3. A pollard i came across yesterday. Didn't measure it but must have had a 7" diameter . Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Been using a hc set up but I think this is far better, more consistent like you say unlike hc when your friction hitch gets wet and tightens. People are mentioning using the rope wrench I presume they mean for srt Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Absoutly love it. Quick and easy to use straight out of the box. Am using 13mm rope at the moment, would like to give 11.5 mm a try just because I think it will tend that bit better👍 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  10. Hi joe, using 13mm New England hivee. I reckon if you had about 15' of rope below it starts self tending but the 13mm is the biggest it takes so a slightly smaller diameter I think it would be sooner. More than welcome to come and have a go on it joe, I know your on srt but I'am sure you will be impressed
  11. Had a go again today, I think hand over hand above is the best way, one under and one over would be to slow . I use a pantin with it which works well.really pleased with it it's so easy to use with no sit back and once you have some weight in the rope it self tends beautifully. Can't see me using the hc again any time soon. You will love it I do:thumbup:
  12. recieved mine today, had a little play with it. i think we are going to gell really well togeather. great piece of kit, hardly any sit back and once you have some weight in the rope self tends nicely. thanks fr jones for quick dispatch. great service

  17. It's appalling , I no what your saying about costs and that they move on after being released pending court case but they are braking the law. No body else would be able to get away with it.i think they are responsible for most rural crime and they are costing the country and us,besides all the claims on our insurances which in turn puts our premium's up .when do you ever see them go to work, only at night thieving. theres only one way do deal with them HARD

  20. Why o why do the police not do something about this scum, we all no they are selling stolen stuff. If any one of us have so much as a bulb gone on our trucks they would be stopping us. They just seem to be able to getaway with any thing. The police should get a real hard crew of men and turn every site over.
  21. Thanks
