  5. Here is the dolmar version MH-246.4DS this is there shortest version at 1.78m 4-stroke engine quiet and smooth engine only 6kg Or you could try Garden Kit and look at the Tanaka they do a short shaft version Thanks:thumbup:

If it helps in any way i do acres of rough topping every year and if ground is uneven or lots of tussock grass and bracken I use three different types of tractor toppers all 3m one is straight forward two blade one is double blade mulching and the other is big flail now if iam in the above rough territory to save destroying the rubber doughnuts or right angled gearboxes instead of using the m10 x 50mm shear bolts I use cheap m10 x 50mm bolts with thread from bolt head to nut that way you have a weak point on the threads when you catch high ground or heavy lumps its strong enough to do normal cutting but if you hit something it's gone before any damage is done

    hello Matty I dont know the RAL colour I will find out tomorrow and let you know as I could use some paint It was only the shipping costs no import duties and price of the coil You could always send that boat anchor down too me , and I'll send you up a shiny new lighter distant cousin twice removed :lol:

    Well some of the guys in the US have done some wicked things with them and got some incredible gains When I can keep a new 7910 for myself I will send it up too Spud to work his magic and let him go the whole Hog and see what goes out the workshop :lol: But this saw is No slouch in standard form :thumbup:
  16. The only niggling thing I find when doing blade work for new fencing is the av always seems loose and not in touch but vibes are never a problem with this set up

  20. Try this rentokil pen available from most hardware stores just run it around the edges of every window the smear nearly disappears in a few hours but the saying " drops like flies" rings true

Hello Wizz as everybody has said it sounds like it's on the electrical side there are a lot of connections start with the on off switch I got several obsolete robin bits here with sachs dolmar part numbers which is a headache I done a coil for a ey15 engine last year is it pull start or electric start and is it the black engine or yellow I hope you haven't been using that old t&t petrol :lol:
