  7. I was looking for a mobile bandsaw and chipper pre brexit and been searching for ages and looking and testing different solutions then came across woodland mills and the rest is history So the answer is No it isn't occasional use its made very strong compact it's done several months work with me chipping hardwood , softwood tops I sell logs so anything over 3-4" is firewood but I have put larger stuff through it and it handles it fine and it goes into a sawmill chipping up outshells for gardening customers on a as and when basis And it's possible to use 1000 speed PTO on a larger tractor saving diesel But others mightn't like it may not be as high tech as the leading brands the safety features are straight forward and very affective

    Pole Chainsaw

Ian when I gave you a courtesy call in august to see how things where , I was disappointed to hear you've been having running issues since February with the saw I sold you , i would have sorted them out ASAP rather than let it drag on for months costing you down time and money But hopefully now Ian the saw will be ok and run good it has a new piston and cylinder and various other bits it tuned in well and ran fine Thanks

There are two other pole pruners too consider Ian and mull over Makita EY-2650H 4-stroke Dolmar ME-246.4 4-stroke Both these are priced in between the echo and stihl I've had the echo and makita side by side and there are several thumbs up and down for both models Why don't you go to a hire shop that specialises in O.P.E and hire a makita and see how it performs it has a longer reach than the Echo pruner you might be surprised And that Dolmar 4-stroke is such a better motor than the stihl it's a genuine 360degree engine with oil pumped around by crankcase pressure and non return valves in the oil ways
