  1. As long as you use good quality synthetic 2 stroke oil it will run better at 50 : 1 . Don't use the crappy garden center stuff .
  2. Do you have first hand experience tasting a pharaohs sandal ? I had heard they were not unlike a Nagasaki ditch diggers flip flop .....
  3. That is the problem Steve . I can tell that one instantly coz I do use Huskys . What bothers me is some unsuspecting punter buys coz he has heard of Husqvarna and then when it , at best under performs and more likely fall apart he is going to think thats what all Huskys are like ( not an opening for Stihl fans ...)

  6. The auction was ended early by the seller as there was an error in the listing ......yea right !
  7. [quote name= What about modifying chains etc on ported saws? Eg taking depth gauges down more? And different sprokets? Should my 346 have a different sproket to put the chain speed up? [/quote] I have a spud ported 346 that Steve did for me probably 3 tears ago maybe more ( probably one of the first ) and it pull a 15" bar full chisel driven by an 8 pin rim no problem .
  8. Get your dealer to phone Husky Technical and confirm . Might be a dodgy batch of adjusters ?
  9. Basically: it would be rude not to >>>
  10. Stand facing the machine where you would be operating it from ( facing the pointy end of the cone ) Imagine the cone is a bolt or stud . ( standard R/H thread ) . Spin a nut half way along the bolt . Grip the nut and if the rotation you have pulls the nut away from you then you need a R/H helix . If with the rotation you have the nut is pushed back toward you then you will need a L/H helix . The log being the nut and the cone being the stud you need the log pulled onto the cone , away from you . Make sense ? hope so .....
  11. You need to specify which direction you are looking . Usually looking on the business end of the crank shaft ( where you would mount your gear wheel or pully ) .
  12. Once you have had your appendix out I'm afraid it will never recover . You will have to live without it ....
  13. Funny . I find it superb as fire wood . Some on the stove now ....
