  2. Let us know what you choose and how it performs for ....
  3. Watch how long it takes for the droplets to fall .... ?
  4. As I am getting older and weaker I am glad I have just sold my 3120 . My 395 is much lighter by comparison and faster ( higher revving ) but not as much torque but hey .......
  5. Nice vid Reg . Have you ever used a tree bicycle Reg ? That tall one looke like a candidate ......
  6. T 540 is the strongest cutting saw in the weakest chassis . The new 201 is what I would go for . The original 201 was gutless and total pants . The new one has all the updates to make it into a usable tool .
  7. Organophosphates ? ( spelling )
  8. And if it was your truck it would new boots on your wheels !
  9. My wife wanted to buy a car from a neighbor . They would not sell it to her in case it went wrong .
  10. Take one off the 3.2 and see if it will fit . If it does order some .
  11. Miker its taken me a day to get that ! Not often I have a serious head on ...Doh !
  12. As often as ....when the saw won't run properly . Very rarely for me in fact but then I do clean the air filter regularly and the fuel filter when it looks a bit brown .
  13. The air is where its been all evening on mine . Once up to temp I close the air just enough to get a gentle burn with a swirling flame ( as per instruction ) . There seems to be embers in the morning on all the hard woods I burn . So not a false economy just a result really . Save on a fire lighter and most times on kindling as well . Just take out the powdery ash to reveal the glow and put on 3 of the smaller logs and 2 of the larger ones . open the air right up and open the door a crack . Take the dog round the field and it roaring when I get back . Shut the door back tight , close the air back to gentle burn when up to temp and so it goes around ........
  14. Crap in the carb then possibly . Check the gauze filter first .
  15. 2 possibilities . The tank vent could be blocked and its pulling a vacuum in the tank but I would have thought that would make itself known sooner than 15--20 mins . The other is low compression . Typical symptoms . Wont run when hot / lack of power .
  16. Hard frost this morning jon !
  17. Sheltered up bringing ?
  18. I think you are absolutely right . To me its common sense but hey ......
  19. And its a Techshite bar so it will fall in half before it wears out !
  20. Agreed . Only 2 controls . The door and the air slide . Glass is double glazed . My nominally 5kw one punts out more I am sure .
  21. Very sensible
  22. One thing to consider If you have just about been managing to heat the house with an 8kw insert stove and echo fan then a free standing 20kw is probably going to be tooooo much ! Sitting in your shorts with the patio door open is daft ! Also as has been pointed out a big stove continually ticking over is not burning efficiently and can lead to problems with gummed up flue liner dirty glass etc . Much better to have a smaller one burning a bit harder . I recon if you have been getting by with 8 kw then 12kw would work a treat . All a bit sketchy I know but having a big stove not burning properly is not good . just a thought .
  23. Yea . No HI VIZ !
  24. Thats a bold shout Steve !
