  1. Yea well they pretty much all got a slow puncture in one or more wheels so the keeper takes them to the compressor and puts a about 3 days worth of air in ! Mostly driven on wet stubble ....
  2. On the shoot the 3 Landrovers range from almost flat to about 70psi !
  3. Stubby

    Bed

Top banana ! Like it bud .
  4. I seems to me that that the likes of Echo and Dolmar have not moved with the times like Stihl and Husqvarna . They are still building saws that are strong in manufacture and strong in the cut . When are they going to catch up !
  5. You will go to prison Mark ! You know it .....
  6. Someone called spud I believe
  7. Same here . Best not to let it run right out . As others have said it monetarily leans out which in time could damage the piston .
  8. And firewood is doing the unprofitable for the ungrateful
  9. We do however have the largest block of yew in Europe. Near me in Kingly Vale .
  10. [quote name=Tim Stobart As per the OP' date=' it sounds like a horrid firm to work for. There is enough of you to stick two fingers up at the firm and set yourselves up. If 3 of you can scrape together £10k on those scrugely wages, then by a second hand van, half a dozen saws, a wee chipper and a couple of climbing kits and set yourselves up. It'd be better than working in the current working environment.[/quote] Thats a good call .
  11. The old rule of thumb is divide the cc by 3 and that gives you max bar length in inches . So 16" downwards if you use that formula
  12. The T540 will be ok as long as you NEVER drop it on its strop . Good strong motor but the plastics are fragile .
  13. Yea I heard the same . It has the sticker ( albeit faded ) and the twin port muffler Not so sure about porting .
  14. Just been out with the dog for a last wazz . -2ish I would think .
  15. Tommie Cooper , priceless . Saracens rugby fans wear a fez .
  16. Just like that Ha Ha Ha or are you a Sarries fan ?
  17. The other thing is your title says estimate not quotes . Estimates I feel are more open to a haggle . A quote is a quote .
  18. You are doing the right thing I recon . There will always be some people that want top beat you down and you could add a bit on first to offset that but you may loose more than you gain . Always be polite and stick to your guns bud .
  19. Yea test it on a service and once a day if you must but not every time you come out of the cut . People who do that with it on WOT every time they take a step ...must snap it on a hundred times a day or more . Just me bud .
  20. Lovely day . Gonna drop tonight again though .
  21. I think the issue Steve for some of us old feckers is the young knob jockeys strait out of collage being told to snap the bugger on at every opportunity with their finger still on the gas . No mechanical sympathy whatsoever ! ...Bonkers
  22. I have a tinnitus . Dont really notice with ambient noise but in the dead of night when trying to kip its a constant hiss type of sound . Always there .
