  1. Maybe he is not scared of it . There may be no targets . Maybe he just does not like it . The point I am making is we are not all alike . You may love trees , as I do , but you , I presume are trying to earn a crust . He wants to pay you to take it down . At the end of the day you dont live there , he does . I dont think its a moral issue . Just me . As you said someone else will do it .
  2. And to top it all the Tiger Tank had a primer bulb .....
  3. Put it in the back of the chipper and put lots of other stuff on top . Done it twice .... Numpty I am .
  4. Risk , what risk . ...Customer says to painter and decorator I want the outside of my house painted orange with big purple spots on . Painter and decorator says I don't think that is a good idea . There is a risk some one wont like it ..
  5. He might get a 2nd hand one ...send it to Spud possibly .. Just trying to meet his criteria . " I fancy a Husky " " under 50cc " " no A/T " doing my best here
  6. Whats the matter with you lot . Why have you got to complicate every thing ? Read mountain mans answer......
  7. Yea . Just what the customer would like .
  8. I would say the same but he said I fancy a Husky ...
  9. If you dont want A/T and its got to be sub 50cc ...and you can find one ....you will not get better than a Husqvarna 242XP on a 13" bar . However ..rocking horse poo come to mind so the next best thing is a 346XP . ( the pre 50cc one I mean )
  10. No . Mountain man has got it in a nut shell . Simples . ....
  11. You changed hands too early
  12. I can support your wrists ....COME ON YOU WRISTS ...
  13. Out standing quality bud . You take a pride that's for sure .
  14. I got one Jon but it stays in the gun cabinet mostly
  15. That is exactly what I thought . I your original post it seemed like you were saying you can fell 5 but if you are selling the timber you can only fell 2 but I must have read it wrong .
  16. I thought you could still fell 5 cube / quarter but only sell 2 .
  17. I thought if they are going to suffer its cutting in a long hot dry spell that will do it .
  18. Agree with wiseco . Its the nesting birds thing and not new either . They are out with the tractor flails round here right now trying to get it all done by the end of the month .
  19. I have had a look about from time to time over this last year and not seen any yet in West Sussex .
  20. I think it is very easy to get used to a more powerful saw so I would not " err on the side of caution " get the best you can afford for your requirements . You know the size of wood you have to cut . Big engine short bar = fast cutting small engine longer bar = struggle . 50cc , 60cc possibly 70cc .
