  5. I have always found ( on Huskys anyway ) that compression is enough . Make sure the de comp is out get a good fitting socket and bar and give it a sharp clout ,

  12. Not had one my self but my bud did and I would tend to agree . Kept breaking down and in the end the bottom end went and was deemed an uneconomical repair . My 3120 never let me down . Sold it now.

  16. Hey Nick . Sorry times are dufficult at the moment . Persistence is a good thing . Keep on trying .( a squeaky wheel gets oiled ) As Paul says something is better than nothing . Something can lead to something else etc . I wish you luck matey .
  17. Used my Spud ported 346 today ( done a few years back now ) with its recently added Spuderisd sticker ! Now we are cookin'
  18. The file is supposed to be 1/5th of its diameter above the top plate of the cutter . This you can do by hand with practice , or , easily with an Oregon file plate/guide or similar . You will periodically have to take the gullets out because if you don't you can have a situation (when the cutter is toward the end of its useful length ) were the the corner of the un dressed gullet can stick out further than the top plate of the cutter when viewed from above .
