  1. Paint a stove door on the rad with a nice flame picture .
  2. Took me a while ......Dry woof Doh !
  3. Have done as long as I can remember . The little fella in my avatar was a stonker . Had 8 all together .
  4. Well quite a few options then . Anything in the 50 to 60 cc class from Echo or Dolmar is worth looking at . A 555 ( 560 without the rev boost ) would be good from Husqvarna . Or a Husqvarna 365XTorque is very good value . Can be converted into a 372XT just by grinding off the fins on the inside of the transfer covers .
  5. Tell us what its to be tasked with and how often ......
  6. Yea all valid but its not a pro machine is it . Its a toy / home owner jobbie .
  7. When I bought it ( 6 years ago I think ) the Burley Hollywell ( 5 KW nominal ) was the most efficient stove on the market . 98% with dry woof I think . This swayed me together with the big fire picture and the un cluttered looks .
  8. I have the same Pedretti as you . must be 35 or 40 years old now . When I got it I had to file the burs off the inside of the barrel where they had drilled through . It made the pattern sorta rugby ball shaped . Look on the thread " show us your guns " I seem to remember its called .
  9. Were as a 3" magnum probably would ! My .410 is fully moderated and will take out a crossing pheasant at about 25 to 30 yards as long as you place the pattern in the right place . It full choke though .
  10. Looking at the pics You have 6 drivers showing on the original and about 5.5 on the new one . One extra driver should sort in .
  11. Loads left in front of you
  12. The shot from a .410 will go just as far as the shot from a 12 , 16 or 20 bore . Just less of it .
  13. What are you clocking now mate ? I have notched up 64 ( 65 in Jan 18 )
  14. This is true . No logs in = no heat out . This does not mean the that the published KW figures are wrong .
  15. Old School . Like it .

Put that one down on the woodland deck and you would never find it again .
  17. That would be " Quercus Obvious ":001_smile:
  18. My Burley "stays in " in the form of glowing embers . I agree they kick out more than there nominal KW figure .
  19. Exactly . A breather is a vent . Its what I meant when I said a tank wont be air tight .
  20. The tips of a White leaf look more pointy when I google the image . Color is right . Swamp looks different . As above looks like the obvious .
