  1. Thats 3 votes for 545RXT . Brush cutter of the year perhaps ? ?
  2. That may mask the problem but wont get to the reason ....there must be one !
  3. Thanks . Thought that would be the case . Co you have a preference ?
  4. You don't look a bit like you do in your avatar Mick ! ?
  5. Back to dealer . I have a very early 560 ( 2011 ) and never had that problem .
  6. Yea , sorry I was Qoting / answering Swinny when he said what is a 500i .........?
  7. Think its at best a pre production saw or maybe just a look what we can do
  8. I would have thought 25:1 would do more harm than good . 50:1 with modern high quality synth oil ( Red Line Racing mixed with Aspen 4 ) is what I use and never had a bearing fail . Husqvarnas though ?
  9. Think its a prototype saw with direct injection .
  10. I doubt there will be much in it ether way but would like to see a comparison vid of Stihl 462 against Husqvarna 572 ..........
  11. I've just looked and my 555 is an RXT . never realised !
  12. Do you mean the crank bearing on the clutch side ? not the clutch needle roller bearing ?
  13. Run my modded 560 on an 18" driven by an 8 pin .
  14. Send it to Spud .
  15. Husky man me . 545RX but have also 555RX The 545 is nicer to use as its lighter . The 555 has masses of torque though . Runs 4mm square line with an 18inch swipe no bother .
  16. OK this thread is still running ........As said I have both Husqvarna 545 and 555 . I prefer the 545 as its a bit lighter than the 555 ( no surprise ) but if you need bags of torque the 555 has it in spades . I run " Jet Fit " heads and the 555 will spin 9" tails of 4mm square line ( no guard ) effortlessly .
  17. The chain speed will be faster in fresh air but you will sacrifice some torque when in the cut . Will be fine on the shorter bars but might bog if you lean on it full cut on a longer bar . I only up the gearing on ported saws and then only on the shorter bars .
  18. Isn't that just one of the " limiter pins " to stop excessive movement between the two halves of the powerhead ?
  19. Isn't a proper Devon pastie called a " tiddieoggie " (Spelling ) ?
