  1. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers , and you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you . Sorry could not resist Kev ?
  2. I have pretty much always had Husqvarnas . When the first pro saw came with a primer bulb ( think it was the first 50cc 346 but still with the orange side cover ) I was scathing , suggesting punctured bulbs on thorns and the like . Its never happened to me and I would not be without one now . 3 pulls from cold instead of 6 or 7 . I'm a convert ! ?
  3. Its not the Aspen causing initial problems , Its the Aspen revealing the problems that the pump fuel as been slowly causing . If you run a saw on Aspen from the get go you wont get those problems . The pump fuel removes the coating from the rubber components that is there to keep it supple . The pump fuel itself will keep it supple until it eventually rots . Aspen won't remove the coating . Its when you switch from long time pump fuel use to permanent Aspen the rubber components stiffen and crack . Its not the Aspen doing it though .

  10. If you go for Hornbeam ( related to Birch I believe ) they do tend to multi stem quite low down . Not a problem in itself but might not be the shape required . On the other hand it might be ! Very hard wood too .
  11. My old Ariel Arrow 250 2t twin used to do 70 mph in third and then drop down to 62 mph in top ! You had to be flat on the tank but .
  12. If its a young fox they usually go bonkers and kill everything , biting the heads off and leaving most of the bodies . . A Tawney will leave a ring of feathers were he has plucked it . If there are not many feathers it could be a number of predators including a person ! .
