  5. Thats 2 more than me . Kept hearing a thumping sound in my loft . discovered today after removing flooring and walling a fcuking mouse has partially chewed through a wire . Not enough to blow the fuse but it kept arcing . looked like a row of tiny LEDs flashing . Will repair that tomorrow ./

  7. Oi oi troops . 7c and drizzle .
  8. Some dreadful ref decisions in the Pompy v Watford match . The worst being the foul by a Pompy player a yard outside the box given as a spot kick . The ref was not far away but the linesman who was as far away as he could get called the ref over and said it was inside the box . The TV showed it several times and it was clearly a yard outside the box . Pompy were 1-0 up at the time and they scored making it 1-1 right on half time . The game went to rat shit after that with lost tempers and scuffles leading to Watford scoring another in the red clock ( 5 mins extra ) I did think they might beat us being way above us and having home advantage but not in that manner . Ho hum .
  9. Ok . the bit with the diaphragm and the metering arm .
  10. Morning troops . Just done a huge poo . πŸ™‚
  11. When you say " only gets used in the winter " does it sit for months with the same fuel in ? I know you said you have tried fresh fuel but the carb could be gumed up from stale fuel , even have water in the float bowel as happens with ethanol additive in modern pump petrol .
  12. Morning all . Has he been ? πŸ™‚
  13. Bummer Doug . Sorry to hear it mate .
  14. And then not only will it look shite but all the new leaders that shoot will make it top heavy and more likely to fall over .

  23. No worries bud . Only in jest 😁
  24. When I was a young " oik " ( about 10 or 12 ) the shunting yard at West Gate in Chichester was awash with sugar beet . We used to collect a few up and stand on West Gate foot bridge and when a steam loco came under we tried to get one down the funnel . If successful a sugar beet would go into orbit ! A spiffing weeze 😁
  25. Just to be pedantic ( bringing nothing to the debate ) its " tack " not tact . As in sailing on a different tack . πŸ™‚
