  1. Don't want your todger dragging on the ground eh Khriss ?
  2. I remember when I first started work at 16 I could not believe someone could be on their feet for the whole day ! ?
  3. I have burnt it from time to time with no problems .
  4. Because everything to do with the cutter is tapered ( from the cutting face back ) to give clearance . When you have sharpened a cutter back a long way the lower part of the gullet can end up as wide as the top plate or a bit wider and this will cause it to rub in kirf . So yea . Clean out the gullets from time to time .
  5. Its not THAT critical . You can make it cut with pretty much any round file in the saw sharpening range .
  6. I was walking with my spaniel one summer and just in front of my face there was a sudden collision . What I think was a Hobby ( small blueish hawk ) took a swallow in mid flight .
  7. What now ? . What do you mean what now Butch . I mean you and me . Oh , that what now . There is no you and me .
  8. The Drakes might be " in eclipse " . They do this after breeding and grow a temporary set of flightless ,sorta dowdy feathers . That's why sometimes you cant tell the Ducks from the Drakes . This lasts for a few weeks then they regrow their flight feathers and off they go . @AJStrees
  9. People forget how much we owe them .
  10. The Birch catkins from the trees to the front of my house are all over the ground and in the back of my truck . Shed loads !

  14. You have to be over 18 , or have parental consent to look at you Khriss ?
  15. Waits with baited breath and all that ........?

Now you say it Andrew I do recall it was a 357 ! You gadda make allowances for an old git ! ?
  21. Hi and welcome . Its a bit like channel surfing on Sky ! Just one point you say 18" to 20" bar . You need 50cc to 60cc for that size of bar ( Take the bar length and X by 3 to give engine size . ) E.G. 18" x3 = 54cc . Also don't rule out Dolmar or Echo . Just to make it more complex ! I am a Husqvarna man myself but any of the 4 top makes woulds be good . I would get the best pro saw you can afford and run it on Aspen or similar alkylate fuel , especially if it has infrequent use .

Mmm dunno about that . Would have to measure the pitch of the pot mounting holes ( not sure if it used the old cank cases and the bigger saw might be a different stroke ) ADW might know for sure . @adw

That is the piston dia ( 41.79 or something like that ) for the smaller 45cc engine and 44,3 is the piston dia for the 50cc one .

I was gonna say about that but thought it might get messy . Also there was the one with , I think orange clips , orange side cover but with an auto de comp and being 50cc . I had one . Took the pipe off , crimped the connector and fitted a blue, no it was grey decomp .
